Very lack lustered. You're forced to purchase their 30 tickets which cost $65 (cash) or you can pay $28 for 10 tickets which will get you on maybe 3 rides. Terribly expensive for only 6 rides. Each ride basically cost $10 to ride and last less than 2 minutes with the exception of the train. Their little area to "win a prize" is overpriced as well. The "prizes" cost anywhere from $7-$40. The $40 dollars being a stuffed animal that looks like it was made for $3.
What amusement park charges an admission fee in addition to paying for the rides? The OWNER justifying their ridiculous ticket cost has no leg to stand on. Six Flags ticket cost $39 at most and it's unlimited amount of rides. And you might have to pay for parking but it's$30 at most .. So another $5 and deciding to go to Six Flags will get you unlimited amount of rides and entertainment. Their food is actually less expensive than Pixieland's. And better quality IMO. $7 for a frozen corn dog???
Another thing about the tickets; if we have tickets leftover, why would we ever return to ride 5 rides???? You would need to purchase at least 30 more.
The replies from the "OWNER" in the reviews are very condescending and witty. It seems like they enjoy replying with their unsatisfactory, condescending, rude comments without even addressing the customer's complaints. When a parent complained about their kids being burned from a ride; PIXIELAND didn't even address fixing the issue. Although my little girl did not get a bad burn, she still complained that the seat was very hot. I had to put two diapers underneath her legs in order for her to ride. And NO she didn't wear parts, we did not anticipate going on a ride would be very hot to the touch.
I would have given ZERO stars if possible. This place...
Read moreBrought my friends kid here at around 10:30 on Sunday and figured we would spend about an hour here and we did. She was too afraid to ride anything but loved watching things move and had one go at the merry go round (1 ticket per rider, so I spent two tickets, at your highest cost, would be about $4.50). The place was very short staffed, but the staff overall were very real about the situation and friendly despite the obvious stress. I wouldnt call this place cheap, but it's affordable for toddlers and young children for the area, and works well to get some energy out. I'd bring the munchkin back here, even if it's to run around and watch the rides, because this place is festive, enclosed, and admittedly pretty fun just to hang out. The kid brought some toys and was delighted to play with them on the static quarter machine movers ($1 per ride) and had fun running around looking at everything. This is a perfect place to introduce kids to amusement parks. It's small and very manageable, for the amount of hours of operation and the location, I completely understand their pricing. If it seems pricey, it's because it's fair to the area. The fact that I didn't have to buy the 10 ticket pack ($19) didn't take away from the visit, and I know my friend will still use the tickets eventually, and I wanted to make sure if his kid wanted to ride anything that we would have the means to do so. It's a unique place to bring little ones and honestly I would picnic here with toddlers if only to have a neat change of scenery. Kudos to the staffers for keeping their heads cool in their rough situation and running as many attractions as safely and efficiently as possible! It's their job to keep kids safe and they did a well for how many...
Read moreVery nice for toddlers, and I say toddlers because there aren't many options if you are looking for something for your older kids. The park caters more to toddlers ages 2-5 to be safe. The rides are really nice for them, as well as the train ride around the park. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and a clean overall place for families with little ones. They also have a big area for parties as well as a small one that's optional too with plenty of shade on hot summer days.
Be aware the prices are a bit high for the rides but you are allowed to use your tickets wherever you visit the park again, since there are no real expiration dates on them.
So I would recommend starting off with purchasing the smallest amount of tickets since any adult with their baby/toddler can ride free, you only have to pay one entry fee per ride and most rides are about 2-3 tickets per ride and there are only 6-7 rides there.
Parking is free, as well as entry. Also if you don't want to eat the food there, just bring your own for your little ones, there are plenty of tables with shade for you to...
