Not for the weak of heart. Must not be fearful of heights, getting wet, filthy, sweaty and steep slopes. If you're cool with all of that then this will be one hell of an adventure!!!! We had a complete blast!!! Some seem to have a hard time finding the trail head, well... if you park and look with the road to your back then it'll be on the left. It's not too difficult to find. We took our time adventuring down the trail, stopping to meet salamanders, taking pics of mushrooms and enjoying the flowers. At the bottom of the trail you'll find the remains of a trolley bridge, that's where the lack of trail starts and the real excitement begins. Lots of climbing, half of us getting our shoes soaked and many slippery surfaces. After spending a good amount of time admiring the falls we decided instead of back tracking that we were going to scale the side of the hill. We all had on very good hiking boots. Do not attempt this with them, actually most probably shouldn't attempt it. But we are crazy and had a great time ♡

Incredible experience! The hill isn't as bad as Google reviews makes it out to be. It was super simple and a very pleasant stretch of woods. Mountain lorale on both sides of the path made for an amazing trek. Once you get to the bottom, we just worked upstream and took in the full experience and environment. Moss covered rocks beautiful stretches of the stream leading the falls. There's a little rope at the waterfall you can scale up to the top. The view from the bottom of the water fall is surreal and extremely breathtaking. It's quite a sight and nice little gem that was found today. Well worth it! Great environment! Great area of the forest! Peaceful and quiet and not busy at all. You can really take your time and enjoy yourself and your surroundings! Stunning all around favorite place of the day by far!

If you’re out of shape, just know the hike down is steep and the hike back up feels like nature’s way of reminding you that you really should’ve skipped those gas station taquitos. It’s a gorgeous spot, but your quads might file a formal complaint. Only downside? The parking lot at the top doubles as a local nicotine appreciation club. I counted three cars and five people with synchronized puffing form truly a majestic sight if you’re into secondhand smoke and existential dread. Not quite the “breath of fresh air” I was hoping for after hiking uphill like a dying walrus. Bring water, wear good shoes, and maybe a gas mask. Still worth the trip.

Great Park to experience! Beware of Snakes copperheads are notorious for rocky areas such as this. There is a path when you get in that is pretty well visible, you take that down about a "blocks length" and then you take your first left which will bring you to a well traveled path right down to the falls no need to hike back upstream as mentioned in another review. Make sure you hear the falls before you turn left. There are a few runoff paths that can trick you from the rain these are not real paths! Right when you hear the falls you'll see a path to the left take that one down. Its pretty steep but worn from use and fairly navigatable. Hope this helps! This is the path i felt was the safest to avoid any snakes! If you go all the way down the path you have gone too far, turn around and look for the path i...
