I remember going here with the family many years back. The family all grown and my dark hair is now gray.I remember feeding the fish and the boardwalk is in bad shape, I will say they need to make some repairs. The family had a blast. Our dog charlie just didn't know what to think about this big bird .The ostrich was large and in charge the llama or alpaca not sure maybe both and donkeys where great got about half way done and our van overheated so we sat there about 40 minutes waiting on it to cool down, enjoying the animals it was great. They must have alpaca coms, because the longer we stay the more ducks, donkeys and alpacas showed up.We started again seen some big deer of some kind large like a elk but looked different and made it almost to the bison before the van was hot again. More ostrichs these big birds put on a show one was dancing with it wings all spread out as the worker filled the water trough. Once again we pulled over waiting for the van to cool. We watched as two ostrich fought each other it was more show than fight but the family thought it was awesome to see. We started our adventure around 12pm and now it's after 4pm the place closes at 5pm. So when the van was ready we had to keep moving which was sad. We had to pass by the giraffe and when we came up to the zebra, one of them ran over to the van as if to say I have been waiting all day for you to come home a lot like my dog greats me after a long work day. I wished we could have stopped but the vans electric fan has gone and if we keep moving it stays cooler. Our dog was totally good with the experience I guess he thought the llamas where just big dogs.We are going to return sometime I fixed the van it ready. Listen I said it need repairs but if you go you will have a blast. I can't wait until we return to finish our experience 90% of the animals will come right up to you. We didn't see any mistreated animals. And none of them looked under fed. The road that takes you through has some rough spots just take your time you will be fine. Maybe the next time we go we can feed the fish.

Had a BLAST!!!!! Made forever memories! We got there later in the afternoon and it poured down rain (AND HAIL) on us, but we still had so. much. fun! The animals were just amazing!! The whole place is simply beautiful. We loved the ostriches, buffalo, llamas, longhorns, donkeys, TIGER!, camel, ducks, anti-social zebra, rhino... We loved them all! They are beautiful, sweet, and hilarious! If you're headed that way, a few suggestions: *Get there early, before the animals have eaten much. (And if you can go at an off-time when it's not as busy, that would be best) *Be patient. Shake your food cup so the animals can hear it. They'll come. *Drive slowly and carefully - yes there are some rough spots in the road. *Don't friggin honk at the other cars. It's rude and they're trying to have a good time. Furthermore, you have no idea what's going on in the car in front of you. So, if you're an impatient ahole, carefully pass when it's safe. *Hang on to your feed cup for dear life!! *Yes, the animals will stick their whole heads in your vehicle. They smell bad, they slobber, and they snot. You'll get feed everywhere. Expect to do an interior cleaning after your visit. It's all part of it. The park is great! It's an affordable afternoon adventure that the whole family will enjoy. (The staff act like they have better things to do but whatever. (Maybe they should watch Tiger King) Not gonna let them ruin it...) I highly highly recommend loading up and making your way to Oklahoma for a day you won't soon forget.

While I loved revisiting this park (my last visit was 34 years ago with my family) I was so disappointed to see how rundown the park was. All of the walking attractions were closed, everything was dried out was very little grass provided for the animals. The animals looked matted and skinny, And not happy at all. When I went 34 years ago, the park was lush with deer and it was green and vibrant - There was no life in the park. No paddle boats, no turtles and fish to feed, just sad animals starving for attention and food. I love donkeys, but I never expected to see so many in a wild animal park. We saw one rhino, one tiger, one zebra, one giraffe, one ostrich……. a lot of cows, buffalo, donkeys, and geese. Old enclosures were rusted - and probably the same enclosures that I saw 34 years ago to be honest. The staff in the gift shop were rude. I went in and said good morning and they would not even look up from their phones. (I felt like I was trespassing.). While I loved the close interaction with the animals, I felt so sorry for them. I don’t know how this place stays open. I want to encourage people to go just because I loved having the animals interact through the windows and the experience was amazing with the animals, but they need to be taken care of better!!!!!!

The roads are rough for smaller cars. I have a Honda Civic, and there was a hill that we slid down because the road was steep, very uneven, and had loose dirt. It was fairly scary. Even not on the hilly parts, the road is so uneven that you will have to drive VERY slowly to avoid scraping the bottom of your car. The animals were very dirty and didn't look in the best health compared to a few other similar places we've been to. There are some animals that are meant to be in groups, but we only saw one of them. Example: 1 zebra and 1 giraffe. Some of the animals that have to be fenced off are in areas that are WAY too small for them. The white tiger outside and the lemur and bird inside are examples. We really hope those animals are moved to larger areas after hours; otherwise, I would argue it's possible animal cruelty. I'm surprised to not see more reviews mentioning this. The bathrooms were in bad shape as well. I believe there were only 2 of 5 urinals working and 1 of 3 stalls working. We did have fun, though; there were some cute animals, such as donkeys, llamas, and the giraffe. There does also appear to be a majority fr the 'walking' portion, to be closed off as it's under construction.
