Last fall, I went to the Lyric Theater downtown to see a play with my girlfriends. We got some goodie bags to munch on during intermission, and one of the items there was a decadent dark chocolate raspberry bar. A bite into this filled me with so much fuzziness that I became very determined to find out more about the company that made this delightful sorcery. So I went on Google and Amazon and imagine my joy when I found out the manufacturer was based in Oklahoma! - A mere conquerable 80 miles was between me and this chunky goodness.

So I gathered the calvary because I knew I couldn't go there alone - I needed reinforcement should incase I sold my soul and allegiance to this enchantment of a place.

So we made it to Bedré, and the samples we were given at the door were so good that I purchased both of them - the corn frisks and dark chocolate potato chips.

The chocolates here are made without wax, so they don't cause me to flare up too badly compared to most other brands.

If you're in Oklahoma, do yourself a favor and visit here. My only complaint is that we couldn't see them make the chocolate live (they do have a see-through glass) as we went there on the weekend. This information was not on their website. They also need to make shipping more affordable! I can't be paying $5 per...

I realize that the recent pandemic has changed a great many businesses, some for the better and some not so much. I fear that, for Bedre's Fine Chocolate, the latter is the case. If I hadn't started visiting Bedre's factory shop in 2006 when we moved to the area, I wouldn't have known what a fabulous place it used to be for a chocolate lover. I wouldn't have returned time and again for awesome dark treasures hiding toasted pecans and caramel, or shiny dark chocolate-covered coffee beans. I wouldn't have had the joy of gifting dark and milk chocolate nut clusters and barks for the holidays. Now the cases that used to hold regular and sugar-free varieties of beautifully hand-crafted chocolates are empty and the huge array of fudges and confections are no more. The only offerings are small cans of milk chocolate covered turtles (called 'Sensations' by Bedre) and those are only about 1/4 to 1/3 their former size, along with pre-packaged chocolate covered potato chips and a few different flavors of a ganache-type of chocolate Bedre calls 'Meltaways,' about the size of a Scrabble tile and individually packaged. Such a beautiful showroom for the memory of what used to be a world-class chocolate made by the Chickasaw Nation...

This is definitely Fine Chocolate! Our favorite is the Dark Chocolate with orange meltaways! We have tasted them all and really like them. They have dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. They have chocolate with nuts, gummies, flavors, turtles, sauces, and just about all types of chocolate. Unfortunately their website is not very good. We wanted to order the orange chocolate but it is not on the website, so that is why we stopped in. We brought it to their attention so hopefully they will offer it on the website soon! This is the chocolate that WinStar puts in your room. It is not far from WinStar if you want to drive to the factory store, it is worth the trip. They are remodeling now and you can’t see them making the chocolate at the moment but you will be able too again once remodeling is complete. They do give a small sample when you arrive. Sometimes they have a few items on sale. We bought a lot of chocolate for our road trip. There is plenty of free parking. This is a great place for all...

We recently visited bedré and got us some assorted treats. The potato chip dipped chocolate from this gourmet chocolate company was very deliciou, and were blown away by the unique and delicious flavor combination. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and the crunch of the potato chips added an unexpected and delightful texture. In addition to the potato chip chocolate, we also sampled a variety of other chocolates from this company and was impressed by the wide selection they offered. From traditional flavors like milk chocolate and dark chocolate to more creative options like caramel sea salt, there was something for every chocolate lover. The presentation of the chocolates was also top-notch, with each piece beautifully packaged and perfect for gifting. Overall, I highly recommend this gourmet chocolate company for anyone looking to indulge in some high-quality, unique chocolate treats. Whether you're a fan of classic flavors or enjoy trying something a little outside the box, you'll find something to love here.
