Cedar Creek Dragway — Attraction in Gun Barrel City

We have had our worst racing experience at cedar creek raceway. The first time we came to this track it was supposed to be a big race. We contacted the operators the morning of driving 3 hours to get there and they said they had racers filling the gates. When we arrived there were only 3 cars waiting for more racers. With consideration of the Discovery Aftermath just not making, we decided to try again. This morning we loaded up and drove the 3 hours to get some test hits in because they operator told us last night that they were prepping to race. Once again... ghost town. Track was not prepped and only the operators truck was there. Can’t stand a liar. 1 star is really to much... ratings...

One of the worst tracks I've ever ran at. No consession or drinks. No ticket person giving slips. Not to mention the track is horrible!!! You have to search through a mess of tickets to find your ticket to find out they don't even have car numbers on the tickets. Came on a street car night after the owner made a special video telling folks street cars only that's tagged and inspected. After switching wheels to have street tires on and get here and there is trailered drag vehicles in the lanes. Worst track experience ever I'd be embarrassed to...

Daniel Hux, the track owner leased the facility to JJ da Boss for arm drop,chase is a race special event. Most people this hometown little drad strip has ever seen . At 82 yo another part of my bucket list is fulfilled.
