Craven County Fairgrounds — Attraction in New Bern

Went to the Craven County Gun & Knife show this AM. Could not believe the line at 8:00AM. There were 300 to 400 people in line by the time they opened at 9:00. I was in the show for a hour and there were still people lined up to get in the door. The delay getting in was entirely due to the number of folks wanting to shop. If there were any vendors for the gun show that didn't show up, they missed a golden opportunity. I did notice that reloading supply vendors were nonexistant. There were buyers looking for reloadimg components and lots of people looking for ammo so if you sell that kind of stuff and just didn't go to the show, ya blew a great...

Honestly it's not what it used to be. Spent like $25 on ticketsThat went quick. Went back and got my two kids wristbands so they can ride everything. My two-year-old pulls his wristband off and now he can't use it to get on any more rides I was told to go to the ticket booth in the ticket booth lady told me to go to the office but I didn't even see an office. Money wasted. honestly I don't think I'll be going back to the fair something told me that just wait cuz I know the seafood festival is going to be...

Food is great! Very disappointed with how some of the workers treated us. We got on the ocean trip ride and as he was locking it he was like y'all might get stuck on top with the amount of weight you guys are carrying. Pretty rude if you ask me. But went over to the basketball shoot and the guy running that was the absolute best! And the duck pick and fish lady were the best! Have a few prizes I won to a few kids. Just wish it was a bit better of an experience...
