We hiked this section of the Centennial Trail from Bear Butte State Park, all the way through to the campground on the other side, and it was not well marked. We got lost 3 times, wasted half the day taking wrong turns and trying to figure out what happened to the correct trail. Of the entire Centennial Trail, this area was the worst and most frustrating. When you come to the dirt road past the cemetery take a left; do not go straight across where the trail picks up; that is a whole different trail, not the Centennial Trail. Take a map! Thank goodness we had a map, but by the time you've figured out your on the wrong trail you've wasted a lot of time...
