Absolutely delightful winter camp experience for our 5-year-old kiddo! The studio is bright, clean, well-staffed, and inviting. Billie was patient, kind, and engaging with the kids. Our daughter has challenges with new experiences, due to her neurodivergence, so we weren’t sure how it would go. I’m so glad we encouraged her to stick with art camp all week! She brought home adorable art each day, following a winter animals theme with a different animal and art medium each day. She also mysteriously lost interest in screen time at home during the week camp was running—she busied herself with finishing the projects she started at camp! Walk into Happy Art Studio and be prepared to smile! If you want to enjoy art and the experience of learning how to paint, this is the place for you and your children. Billie, called “Billie Duck” by her students, is an experienced teacher who loves teaching others. She doesn’t condescend, she embraces the skill level of her students. She takes each part of the learning process and breaks it down into step by step instructions that are easy and rewarding. Happy Art Studio was the perfect party spot for my 8 year old’s birthday celebration! We selected the “Squishmallow” party and my daughter’s guests were delighted to receive their own present at the start of the party. This gift was their muse for painting. Before they started, studio owner Billie lightly covered color theory and set them on their way with a gentle guidance. The studio covered lunch, drinks, plates and napkins, and my favorite, cleanup!
