I Love Dripping Springs Vacations is now Stay Local Austin — Attraction in Dripping Springs

We had an amazing time at the Dripping Springs Shadywood Shangri-La home and can’t wait to stay there again. The property provides everything one could ever need for a relaxing weekend getaway or family gathering in the Texas Hill Country. The backyard is an absolute oasis, with a great pool, several big umbrellas, endless lounge chairs, and a large covered patio with an outside bar, grill, and couch. Don’t forget to take advantage of the cornhole boards and other fun lawn games (stored in the garage). Although I spent most of my time outside lounging by the pool or watching the endless deer and birds who visit the property daily, the home itself is also a gem. In the home, you’ll find a massive living room with a very large couch and TV, a large dining table and spacious kitchen layout that will allow even the largest families to prepare and enjoy a nice meal together, a mother-in-law suite with an additional living area and patio, a wonderful master bedroom and bathroom with yet another large TV, and several other nice bedrooms for your family or friends to enjoy. While you’re there, don’t forget to check out the endless local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries located in Dripping Springs and the surrounding cities. This is truly one of the best rentals I’ve ever booked – don’t pass up the opportunity...

We loved, loved, LOVED this house! We took our big family to stay over the holiday weekend, and the house was so spacious and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The main house has four bedrooms (three with en suite bathrooms) and a half bath. The master bedroom is so spacious and has a huge beautiful bathroom. The other part of the house has a bedroom downstairs and a huge apartment-style suite upstairs (with a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom). The laundry room and mudroom were so spacious and nice. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, appliances, spices and food staples. The big breakfast table seats eight people, the kitchen bar seats four, and the adjacent dining room seats four more. We were all able to eat together. There was also a brand new barbecue grill by the pool. There were so many things for us to do outside...lovely swimming pool, hot tub, many lounge chairs, a fire pit, a fire table, a picnic table, a three-hole putting green, and two tree swings. There is also a little club house (the Funk House) that has shuffleboard, foosball, electronic dart board, and a large tv. With all of these attractions, everyone was able to spread out and do their own thing. We will definitely rent...

I gave this property 3 stars after my communication today with a member of management team named Katie. I was hoping there would be a mutual resolution regarding my request for a small compensation due to the A/C in the bedrooms not cooling down properly in the late afternoon & evening during our stay at I Love Dripping Springs. Our days were great, it was a cozy home with everything you should want or need. Just disappointing we paid over $5000 for a 3 night stay & had mostly sleepless nights due to the temperature being so hot. Poor customer service after the sale lead to zero compensation for the A/C issue. The maintenance team could not have been nicer & acknowledged the temperature difference between the bedrooms & the rest of the house. Management argued their acknowledgment & indicated that maintenance found no issues. I should have waited to leave my review on the booking site until my conversation today as I assumed there would be some type of small compensation. My goal in leaving this Google review that future guests won’t have the same unfortunate experience with the A/C in...
