Mt. Baker is a fantastic local ski area and one of my favorite spots in Washington. I’ve been coming here for years, and it always delivers—especially on powder days. It’s smaller than some resorts, but that’s part of the charm. It’s less crowded, with hardly any lift lines in my experience. The terrain is best suited for advanced skiers, but there’s still plenty for beginners and intermediates. The views from the top are stunning, and the lodges serve surprisingly good food. Always a great day on the mountain here! No parking problems, gear rental available.

I went yesterday. Snow condition was perfect. Better than Whsitler Mt. for expert skier. Even my kids(they traveling a lot for skiing) said the best mountain. Before we arrived Mt. Baker, kids didn't want to go skiing, but they didn't want to go home after they arrived. We used Raven hut for lunch, chef’s special was good. But not reached Whistler mt.

A great place to go to! I absolutely recommend it for everyone to ski/snowboard at least once here.

Great local ski area, and worth a visit in Washington state. Not as big as some other ski areas in Washington, but that only adds charm plus its less busy, rarely are there lift lines from my experience. More apt for advanced skiers, but there is still good terrain for intermediates and beginners, just expert skiers will probably get the most out of it. Also there's always a LOT of snow here which is great for powder days and a...

Good beginner class and bunny slope. It’s true Mt Baker is more suitable for advanced skiers, as the lowest lift going up beginner slope takes you up two tall hills and you can’t see the end of the lift from the base. However the bunny slope is also a little more extensive but still gentle, without the congestion at some of the other ski resorts. Perfect for kids...
