North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex — Attraction in North Myrtle Beach

My family and grandchildren love this park (18 months, 2 1/2, 12 years). On our last two visits there have been middle school and high schoolers playing on equipment in very dangerous ways while the parents are at a ball game. Also playing on toddler equipment. My husband ask them to leave the toddler area due to their age and several other parents thanked him. Our littles were very intimidated and did not want to play on the slide area because of this behavior. Today there was a charter school there and these kids were out of control. Jumping off the top of slides and jumping off the outside of the 3 story rails. Going down slides one behind the other before clearance and running up slides. I’m not sure why no one was correcting these kids. Yes I’m leaving this review in hopes of your managements concern for serious injury and/or a law suit. The next time I’m there and this behavior is going on I’m going to do a video and send it to park management. You might want to have someone monitor your park or add cameras for monitoring. Someone needs to put the horse in front of the cart because the parents of some are certainly not concerned about their kids which as usual makes it bad for those of us that teach and monitor...

Was there for nephews base tournament.

1st.Great fields for baseball & softball(8 or more batting cages for both but did not see machines to pitch just people had to pitch with guards to protect pitcher. I will try & upload pics incase i missed machines.

2.Fields are taken care of very well, but rackes on a lawn mower do not remove lil ricks or grave while draging field, much better ways 2 do it.

3.They do put temp fenceon some for younger players. Soccer. All in very great condition. Can be expensive 10$ a day for non players to get in. Food is not cheap.

4.Nice dog park aprox medium in size for ones i have seen in Myrtle area.

5.Terrible umpire. From 1st inning of each of 5 games my nephew played & from 3 others in his group i watched he had his mind made up b4 game started who he would help if it was call within 2-3 secinds. 13 years playing myself. Countless other games watched, neber saw anything so terrible. He never knew score, count, outs, etc. Was on phone or not even watching game.then would make call he never saw. I went to a Memorial Day event at the park venue sponsored by the VFW Post 10804 in unison with The American Legion Post 186. It was an outstanding event dedicated to remembering the fallen soldiers and sailors that gave their lives so we could live in the Beautiful UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! It was, second to none, the most respectful Memorial Day event I have ever attended. The North Myrtle Beach Park and recreation center is a beautiful place, well laid out with something for everyone. With ball fields, at least two dog parks, concert stages and walking trails, there is surely something for everyone to enjoy!
