It's nostalgic, it's kitsch, it's the same old Paul Bunyan! Some rides I swear are the same as the from 1991. The park brought me a lot of joy as a child, and my children got to experience the same feeling after our recent visit. The rides and attractions were just right for my 3 and 5 year old. The price is what it is because it is unique and you'll probably only need to visit once or twice! We arrived in the morning, left for lunch and came back for the afternoon. The place isn't Disneyland but it was just right for us and a fun day trip. It's a rite of passage for Minnesota kids, and I hope it will around for many years to come!

This place cost us almost $100 for admission for 4. Any time we wanted to ride a ride there was no attendant at the ride and we waiting 20 minutes a couple of times and still had no success with getting an attendant over to any of the rides. These are pictures of all of the rides that had no attendant at 3:54pm on a Sunday (today). There were 3 rides operating at this time. There was even an attendant just standing at the exit of one of the rides staring at all of the people in the lines that were not operating. It seemed liked everybody went on break all at the same time for over two hours. At one point, an attendant had told us that he would be right back, we waited 15 minutes and then he was finally back. Then got us on one ride and then told us he had to go on break. The attendants also yell at these little kids while they are on the rides, trying to scare them…and they did scare several of them (it was weird). We are significantly disappointed with the steep price and the underwhelming experience. If we were to praise anybody or anything, We would praise the teenage workers that had a positive attitude and were awesome at their jobs. Abbie was also great!

This shall now be known as Death Trap Park. I am seriously in disbelief that they haven't been shut down for safety concerns. Old rusted metal rides with belts that cut into your kids clothing and leave scars on their bodies. Bumper cars are so violent my 5yr old was crying in pain everytime someone hit us, aka no bumper = no fun. The entire place is filthy and coated shoes and sweatshirts in dirt. $10 per person is too much for this place, let alone the $27 they charge. I would be more satisfied if it was just pay for the Paul and photo with babe and make it a pit stop. If your kids are up to date on tetanus shots than go ahead and spend $100 to get dirty for the day at the town carnival I suppose. Never again for us.

Staff is amazing and so friendly. It seriously is a little gem. Worth visiting at least once with the kids before they get to big for the rides. Great prices, so much to see and do. Rides, photos, gift shop, tons of antiques and cute exhibits petting zoo, animals to feed. . My little one had a blast. She loves paul!! They have a camp ground to stay at as well!! I definitely suggest a visit there is so much more. Even the old time photos is a deal it like a quarter what you pay at a place like valley fair and you get a CD to take home! Don't forget Paul talks to the kiddos and they have great place to eat too! He says your name!!!

Paul Bunyan Land 50 years later …is still the same magical legendary small amusement park, that every family should have a chance to go visit! The prices were reasonable the rides were more on the line of a hometown carnival. The food was also carnival like. Paul Bunyan had a little bit of a attitude today… after a few too many questions from my grandchildren, Paul Bunyan told them to move on! Ha ha… The kids loved babe the blue Ox and all the rides! Fun was enjoyed by all! So if you get to BRAINERD and you have young children don’t miss out on Paul Bunyan land! 🌲🪚🌲🪚🌲🪚
