Pennies & Feathers Gemstones — Attraction in Rock Hill

Apparently my review got taken down , but 3 months ago I spent 175$ in this store . I had to come back to try to get my money back for some items that I found out were fake and dyed . I’ve never had that problem. What I bought was jade and a men’s ring for 175$ . I bought it for my boyfriend and he is very knowledgeable of stones more than I am . He knew from looking at it that the jade was dyed , and the stone ring he had to test it which came out as clear Quartz and not mystic topaz. The Alaskan jade was REAL JADE BUT DYED , it was not worth 85$ . The ring I bought was suppose to be mystic topaz but it tested as “CLEAR QUARTZ” . Those two items were not worth the money I spent on them . I just wanted my 175$ back , When I went to tell her what was wrong and why I want my money back , she said “I think your friend is just looking for something wrong and I think he just didn’t like it” and she also questioned what I tested it with and told me I was wrong because she knew what it was . If she was so confident why didn’t she pull out her own tester and show me ? I was given the option to keep the fake items or store credit. I haven’t seen anything saying she doesn’t take returns or a sign on her front door about it . I was embarrassed to give her stuff back , But In the end I was still offered store credit . Why would I want store credit and exchange something for something else that might be fake though . It’s just about honesty and knowing what you have in your store so people don’t get ripped off intentionally or unintentionally by the owner.

such a safe and welcoming atmosphere inside the store!! the owner has everything you could possibly need and she has incredible knowledge on all of it. she took so much care when wrapping and checking out me and my mom’s things, and even included a note with each the crystals on their healing properties. was recommended this place by the owner of Nefertiti and Aura of Hope (who was also so wonderful!!). not sure what the dyed gems review was because i have definitely bought dyed gems on accident and i am very cautious when going to a new store and everything i saw was obviously naturally formed and i didn’t see any pigmentation patterns that you tend to see with dyed stones. she gave me some samples of incense to try while meditating that has helped her to be able to get more into the headspace as i expressed difficulty with doing so, and was overall such a sweet and welcoming energy. if you have time, i would recommend going in here! you will for sure find something you like that...

Danielle, owner of the store is the most warm and welcoming woman you would ever hope to find anywhere but especially in a metaphysical store. My Family has been going here for a little over two years now and we drive quite a ways to get here, but she is well worth it and everything in her store is so amazing! We have spent hours here, quite literally, and yet I have always felt like new items pop out at me. No matter if we spend a very large amount of money or nothing quite jumps out at us during that visit, Danielle is always so polite and courteous and loving , and really wants us to find pieces that we connect with personally. I believe that she loves us just as much as we love her, and she always throws her arms around us with a very big, genuine hug to greet us upon arrival and departing.
