Renninger's is a fun day, the atmosphere is always nice and and for the amount of people there, it's spacious. For a flea market, the food is absolutely amazing. We stopped by a Mexican food truck called Tacos Dos Potrillos which has been the best Mexican food we've ever had in our life. We've been coming back just for that lately because not only is the food the best, but the man and woman that operate it are very sweet and the prices are decent. While on the antique side, the sellers are very kind and courteous. And on the flea market side, some of the sellers are very pushy. There was a guy selling supposed celebrity head shots which he said he took, but they had clearly been printed from Google. When we didn't seem interested, he got angry and made us feel bad about not buying from him. Then at the Avon store, there is a lady selling things but at the front of the store, she has a video showing how she had been in a wreck. The slideshow shows pictures of Avon products strewn about, and she sits in the store in a wheelchair, but gets up to help some people. I believe this is done to try and make people feel sorry for her, so they buy things. Which is a really awful thing to do, and makes people feel very uncomfortable. Why else would she be showing a slideshow about how she was in a wreck at an Avon store... I'm giving 4 stars because my fiancé and I have had mostly good experiences here. If you stop anywhere, make sure it's at Tacos Dos Potrillos 😊 you won't be disappointed.

So there's a lot going on on this property. I I've gone here a few years ago and it's pretty good. So at the light you have the main flea market. It's on the left side of the property. There are a few indoor buildings that lead into like outdoor open air sections which leads next to another open air section and then to a section that's got like outdoor areas and properties that have like plants and chickens and that kind of stuff. When you come down the hill on the right side of the property you have like a large parking area and then you have an antique flea market that also has like a little like Village of smaller buildings and sheds some of them are like pole barns. In between the antique flea market and the main flea market there is an event space. If you were trying to get to the event space when you're at the light or the entrance before the light you go in and you take a right. In front of you you will see the gate that brings you into the antique flea market you do not go in there. You will see some signs that talk about event parking which is right outside that gate. You park there and if you take a left at the antique gate about half a mile down the road will be a like metal structure that is the entrance into the event space. This is where a lot of the like craft shows/concerts/flea markets are. When you first get into this event space there is a large pole barn style structure that's got old wooden plywood tables. Then you have a like stage structure next to it and there are flushable bathroom stalls and porta potties around and there's lots of picnic benches in the area. One thing I do wish is that the events that they have are more advertised. For instance we went to an event there and they didn't have any signage at all on the road or even up where there's yellow event parking signs that are always there they had no parking signs about what the event was or where to go to get to the entrance. It's very simple fixes but they seem to always drop the ball.

I came out a few weeks ago, for it they're huge Market and I have to say was completely blown away like a kid in a candy store! The Eclectic, unique variety of vendors, collectors, vintage, upcycled Treasures was amazing! Handcrafted artists as well as yummy food and it just went on the booths and treasures for days as they say. As an event planner myself who runs a monthly makers, artist, vintage collectible market in Tampa Florida - Maven Market Channel District, ( not a Shameless plug LOL) but to shed light on the fact that we have the same concept , and this is what I passionately do ....not that I'm an expert on the matter but the point is I go to Great Lengths to make sure all the vendors I have are incredibly unique makers, artists, vintage, upcycled with the same concept that Renningers has and I was truly Beyond! impressed at the variety, quantity they had of all of those and more! Got a lot of my Christmas shopping list checked off! Met the management and honestly, they were just as delightful. As the show was ending I watched vendors come to them to I guess check out? Or who had questions and they seemed to have truly genuine and definitely positive relationships with them all. I saw nothing but positive interactions. All in all just a wonderful experience! Such beautiful property., location as well! I look forward to going back absolutely!

Renninger’s Flea Market is an awesome place to spend the day and you still won’t see everything! It is Hugh! Saturday was my first time there, bought a few things and will definitely be going back as soon as we can. I have been to lots of flea markets and think this may be the best one I have ever been to. They have new and old, plants, comic books, records, antiques, items at good prices, used tools, clothes, toys, food, hand made one of a kind items and furniture, and one vendor had, not one, but 2 ray guns mounted on stands about 4’ or 5’ high that looked like they came out of a Flash Gordon movie. If your looking for it, it is probably there. Then we went to the Antique section that is south of the flea market and there are a lot of great shops with nice clean antiques and stuff that needs cleaned. Again, everything you could want or think of. Awesome! (and I don’t use that word very often) I was very impressed with both sections. Be sure to check our Gail’s Toy Shop and Museum. Lots of great toys. Check out Renninger’s and plan on spending most of the day and walking a lot. Take some spending money, you will be glad you did.

Over 800 vendors selling antiques, collectibles, vintage, and more. The show is outdoors, under open air buildings, tents and includes the Indoor Antiques Center and the Street of Shops at the Antiques Center. Renninger’s Flea Market is Flea Market which runs Saturdays and Sundays 8 – 4! Located on 117 acres of scenic, rolling land in beautiful Lake County, the heart of Central Florida; amid spreading oaks, garlands of Spanish moss waving gently from their branches, you will find Renninger’s Twin Markets in Mt. Dora. Two large buildings and a number of open-air shopping areas house a wide variety of dealers from produce stands, clothing shops, and oddity vendors, to high-quality antiques and collectibles. Renninger’s Twin Markets are also home to a large number of special events including antique fairs and extravaganzas, Cars and Guitars shows and swap meets, vintage garden shows, and much, much more. One of my favourite weekend places to frequent with family and friends plus my pet chi too!

To start off this place is very big. When you come in the main entrance there is stuff to your left and to the right. We went right first. And I drove all the way to the back. I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to but I went really slow. Found some decent parking and parked. We went to the outside dealers first. Then we walked inside the indoor part that had A/C. It is September in Florida and it is hot. We got there late afternoon and they close at 5pm. So by the time we thought we saw everything, most people have packed it up for the day. Which I understand. If you plan to go here. Come early and prepare to walk a lot. Also I would recommend coming here in the winter time, when it’s not so hot outside. I plan to come back myself when it feels cooler outside. There is a lot to see inside and outside. Then we went to Downtown Mount Dora.
