Wow. Wow. Wow. This place looked great online, but it exceeded our expectations and we had the most relaxing, comfortable vacation ever.
Where do I start- when you pull up to the property you get the feeling of arriving at an English manor. The property is secluded, lush, quaint, and clean. Everything is cared for and someone pays extreme attention to detail. This is the theme for the entire experience and the first impression is truth here!
The staff was amazing. Attentive, excited, welcoming, warm, helpful, polite...I could go on and on. They know the area well and are a wealth of information.
We stayed in room 8...this is the room with the waterfall picture above the fireplace. We took a peek in a few other rooms while they were being readied for new guests...they all look amazing. The room was quiet. I never heard a peep. No loud appliances in the room, no neighbors conversations could be heard, no creaking floors...just quiet. The bed and pillows provided the most comfortable sleep. Nothing was over the top or cheesy with respect to decor and layout. It felt elegant while maintaining a level of hominess. The soaps and lotions were so nice! When you open the balcony door all you hear is ocean and songbirds. It's like being snow white...the birds literally land on your balcony and throughout the courtyard along with bunnies.
Other consciences- no mini fridge in the room...fully stocked fridges with waters and softdrinks in the halls. 24 hr access to tea, coffee, and espresso. Nice lobby with books, boardgames, fireplace, and views. Short walk to beaches and cypress forests. Bikes that are available to borrow. There was a complementary wine your in the late afternoon. Free WiFi...AAANNNDD of course the amazing breakfast that you can take to go, in the breakfast nook, or delivered to your room. It was always delivered exactly on time too!!!
I could write more, but I will just end it by saying- thank you Seal Cove Inn and staff, we enjoyed ourselves, feel completely replenished, didn't want to leave, and will defineatly be back.
