It's a very barebones range. Compared to local the competition it has a few 200 yard steel targets set-up but in all other cases you must bring your own targets and stands and take home everything you brought out. Been a few times and typically there are no more than 2 or 3 others on the range. Also no rangemaster most of the time so it might require a little more thought than most of the other local ranges. If it's your first time shooting at a range go with someone who has an understanding of how ranges operate. Plus side is normally it takes me 15 to 20 minutes to set-up and hit a ceasefire, here set-up might be a little longer due to no other items then benches being present but typically cease fires are as needed so end up saving a considerable amount of time. Price is about par with other out door ranges, not factoring in cost of your own target stand(s), sandbags, spotting scope etc..., however the hours of operation are great which offsets the small additional cost in my mind. There seems to be a regular following for most of the disciplines, blackpowder, CMP competitions, etc... All the people I have meet have been great and due to having to operate the range togeather and be concious of safety it seems to have promoted a safer environment without requiring a rangemaster to watch your every move. Taking into account the cost for your own gear and the extra distance from Bellevue/Seattle it ends up being the best local range with one caveat of if you are entirely new shooter or outdoor range user or even if you are just starting to join a range again then it might be a little daunting at first to essentially run rangemaster operations. In those particular cases it might not be a bad idea to try Issaquah Sportsmans club for a while then step up to SVRC once you can acutally feel comfortable running a range and be able to make the most out of the additional 100 yards and flexibility that...

Its a safe, fun and easy going range. Everyone is an RSO when here. We all watch out for each other. Never had a single issue here. One of my favorite places in the world. No round-in-mag limit. 200 yard line with metal gongs. Pistol range. Covered firing points. Lights for after dusk. Rappid fire completely allowed as long as you are safely landing your rounds on target. Just follow the rules, pay your dues, help out when you can, clean your messes up and be safe! What a wonderful place to have...

I was met by nice gentlemen (E is the first initial of his name) Who informed me of the club rules and how to become a member, so you can shoot.
