One of the best RV parks we’ve stayed at. Not only do you have incredible views of the sawtooth around you the RV park is also taken care of incredibly well. The husband and wife duo that purchased the RV park a few years back have clearly put so much love and work into making your stay an enjoyable one. We arrived for Fathers Day weekend and were slightly nervous about what to expect since the park was at full capacity. All guests that stayed were incredibly respectful but what made the difference were the facilities for guests, not only were they kept so clean (bathrooms and showers) they were so well decorated! The check in office was also fully stocked with snacks, beer, and gifts for purchase. We learned that all the merchandise was actually designed by the wife who was also responsible for the very HGTV worthy decor throughout base. We can’t wait to make a trip back and recommend to anyone strolling through Stanley.

Stayed here again, this time in the only pull through site - 11. Hosts are fantastic as always. We had to cut our earlier trip short and they allowed us to book the remainder of our stay at this time. Park was still 100% full. My only complaint would be privacy, site 12 is directly across from 11 with both door sides of campers facing each other. We spent a lot more time cross 21 to walk along and in valley creek though. Great place to bring the dog. Free coffee in the morning and they also serve beer and wine now. Slightly better cell phone signal on t-mobile, was able to get 3 bars and about 12-16Mbs. Verizon had a strong signal as well but the phone I use as a hotspot wasn't working so the throughput was lousy. I've heard others get decent bandwidth on vz tho. Wifi again was unusable during normal hours, only really late night and early morning.

What a gem! This camp ground has transformed into a beautiful destination for anyone looking to experience the majestic beauty of the Sawtooth Mountains. The cabins and bunk house is an incredible addition, allowing anyone without a camper or RV to enjoy this treasure! Joe and Lindsay, the owners are in a relentless pursuit of camp ground perfection, book early and be ready to experience this magical place. Oh! and the custom pottery made by Lindsay is so beautiful and a must have for anyone traveling through or hoping to (she has a website sawtooth_goods on Instagram)

The park has new owners and they are wonderful from the moment you pull into the driveway. We were in spot number 10 which is a nice spot with a picnic table, shaded trees and a limited view of the sawtooth mountains. If you have a rig that’s on the smaller side, the upper level has great views of the sawtooth mountains. There are only a few spots for larger RVs and there is a little bit of a hill that you would have to maneuver. There is a communal fire ring which the wood is supplied by the owners. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers which laundry room was very clean. You can pay for the laundry with cash Venmo or a card you have to bring into the office. The bathrooms were also very clean. The owners could be seen maintaining the park all day long and we’re always eager to have a conversation and get to know their patrons. This park is about a half a mile to the entrance to Stanley Lake which is a really nice bike ride from the park on a little dirt path and follow the road to Stanley Lake which is paved and very lightly traveled down to the shore. It’s about 3 miles out of town which is very small and the shopping is limited and expensive. So if you’re headed into Stanley make sure that you stock up on what you need. However there is a market/gas station that has everything. The people in Stanley are super friendly. Don’t forget to visit the old ghost Mining town and also the Hot Springs. In case you didn’t know Stanley is one of the areas in the world known for its dark zone. My recommendation would be to take your car or truck down to Stanley lake at around midnight and you’ll see the most amazing stars shining so brightly that you’ve ever seen. This park is a great choice if you’re visiting Stanley and I wouldn’t stay...

Edit: I wanted to add that if I was looking for an RV park near the Sawtooth Mountains I would stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean. Laundry was expensive ($5/load) but worked fine for us. No shade in our site but we had a partial view of the mountains over a fence in the distance. Site was a decent size for an RV park. Dumpster across from our site was overflowing a was smelly on Monday morning but it was emptied by lunch time thankfully.

Downsides were (a) steep hill to our campsite (which we negotiated just fine but we watched someone with a front-wheel drive minivan who could not make it up and we ended up pulling his trailer up the hill for him) and (b) WiFi is AWFUL... to the point where I was standing next to their antenna and was getting 50Kbps download maximum and it would take minutes to load a page, if it worked at all. Normally I don't care about WiFi but I had to work one day while here and it caused me significant hassles.

Other thought: If you care about cell service/internet, you'll need Verizon. T-mobile had no service (even using my cell booster). AT&T had 2 bars of LTE service, which I could boost to 4 bars with my cell booster, however it would not actually work at all. I was however able to get 4G AT&T working at about 1.5Mbps by disabling LTE (which gave me one bar of 4G) and then using the cell booster (which pushed...

Our recent stay at Stanley RV + Basecamp Lodge in Stanley, Idaho, proved to be a delightful experience. The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a park staff member, setting the tone for a hospitable and friendly stay.

The RV park was visibly well-kept, clean, and inviting. The signs of ongoing investment by the owners were evident, which is always encouraging to see. It gave a sense of the park's history, combined with a promise of continuous improvement for the future.

Our assigned spot was tucked amongst the trees, providing an intimate and pleasant environment. The beauty of the natural surroundings created a tranquil and peaceful ambience that made our stay all the more enjoyable.

The park's facilities, including the bathrooms and showers, were spotless and well-maintained, demonstrating a high level of care and attention to detail. An added bonus was the provision of morning coffee, a lovely gesture, though guests should remember to bring their own cup.

In conclusion, Stanley RV + Basecamp Lodge delivered a delightful RV experience marked by cleanliness, natural beauty, and excellent service. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would certainly choose to park our RV here again in the future. We highly recommend this place to all fellow travelers passing through or planning to explore...
