7/1/22 update: Still awesome. I think this is my favorite takeout place. It's not fine dining but what they do they do really well. If you haven't been here, I really encourage you to try it. The prices may be a little on the higher side (always do the upcharge for fried rice) however the portions are massive and they do not skimp on the protein. 1 Lil chick or sweet moo meal makes me full and I'm the type of person to want more food after a Caniac combo or a full rack of ribs. You'll be infinitely more satisfied with something from here vs a generic Asian restaurant.
Original: This place was excellent. Initially we were apprehensive and couldn't actually tell if they were open or not, as it was dark in the front. We got there shortly after they opened for the day, and I'm glad we went in anyways. Everything was made fresh and piping hot when we got it.
Pictured below are the "Sweet Moo" and "Hawaiian Noodles" menu options. I don't think it was mentioned on the menu, but you can $2 upcharge to get fried rice instead of white rice, which we did. The portion sizes were very generous, the pictures below are deceiving - there's a ton of noodles or rice below the meat in both dishes, and just a small amount of lettuce on the very top. The homemade yum yum sauce is really good and a lot better than whatever Sysco stuff other restaurants buy.
The two of us left satisfied and full, with a small amount of leftovers. We will definitely be back to try the other options. The owners were also extremely friendly and have a cute kid providing moral support...

The Food: The Brussel sprouts are TO DIE FOR. Perfectly crispy and oily and tangy all at the same time. I really don’t understand how they do it! I either get the Lil Chick, chicken Boss, or Hawaiian noodle for my entree. Extra yum yum sauce on everything! Portions are awesome and the food still tastes perfect as leftovers… if you can make it without eating the whole dish.
The Service: The owners are a family of 3 and they are the absolute nicest people and so welcoming. They remember who we are when we come back so I’m ecstatic that we’ve officially become regulars.
The Atmosphere: The restaurant itself does a lot of take away orders and I believe they have a food truck in the summer (don’t quote me on this) so if you’re dining in, heads up that it’s a no frills vibe. And I mean that as the absolute highest compliment because it’s about the food and family at Young Man.
Recap: I keep going to Young Man wanting to try everything on the menu, but just can’t seem to pull the trigger on a new dish. Someday I’ll try other things and I have no doubt in my mind that it will be the best damn food in the neighborhood. Support this family owned restaurant for not only the delicious food, but the kind,...
Read moreWas in the area getting a booster shot and decided to try this place out on my way home. This place is so unique! Have not had Balinese-Hawaiian fusion and the menu looked amazing. I got the sweet moo (beef sir fry w/ onions and yum yum sauce) which was very good, and a MASSIVE portion at that for only $13. I could probably get two meals out of it. To make it even better the owner (I assume, he was the only guy working there) threw in some shumai and fries for free since there was a cancelled Uber Eats order which were also delicious! It's such a cute place, could see the owner making my stir fry at his wok station right behind the counter and plating it, it's like being served in someone's home kitchen, very intimate and down-to-earth. I could tell he really cares about feeding people great food and making them feel welcome, he was so nice with accommodating my allergy and clarifying things on the menu and gave me a bottle of water while I waited even though I was getting takeout. Definitely will keep coming back to try out all of the yummy things...
