My daughter had a blast at this park. It was our first time here, it won't be our last. Several different playgrounds, a football field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and plenty of space for bicycles and skateboarding. There are picnic tables and grills, along with a fishing lake the park has it all. Before coming here, we had heard about the zipline swing, so we were looking forward to that, and although my little one enjoyed it, it is quite difficult to operate without adult assistance. They isn't much shade at this park, except over the playgrounds so I imagine in the hot months we probably won't come here. I like that they have an actual building for the restrooms and not just Porto pots.

Update: this place has grown over the years! There is now a new walking/jogging trail (bikes are allowed too) that is paved with markers to tell you how far you've gone. There are also little exercise stations positioned around the trail for use. Recent addition is a newer trail that leads to the other Converse park. The baseball fields are gone, but they've added more at the other park. In place is a football practice field that also is used as a soccer practice field. They did add a closed in field that acts as a 3-n-1 baseball, football, and soccer field complete with seating and sometimes a concession stand. They've added another playground and a pavilion complete with seating, parking, and grilling stations closer to the lake and another bathroom. I've watched this park slowly grow over the years and can't wait to see what they do next, but it's a great place to go and relax. Check it out when you have the time.

Great walking trail surrounding baseball, football, basketball, volleyball fields; playgrounds for the kids; and a lake you can fish in....

The fields themselves are not up kept to the standards you would expect. Lots of weeds, uneven dirt, and animal feces. People fish here quite often which can sometimes leave a nasty fish smell lingering in the air. The exercise equipment is a little worn but for the most part still functional. Has a great little route for people biking, jogging, walking etc etc. The playgrounds seem tidy and fairly new/clean. The bathrooms are about as up kept as one would expect in a public park. Park closes fairly early in the night too with many police officers doing patrols several times a night. Quite a few pokemon go players as well. Its a fairly good park on most days but there are a large number of dog walkers who dont clean up after...
