Wonderful views! However, the "easy hike" description and words like "family" and "small children" need clarification.

This is not a walk. Bring water and a snack for the break at the summit. It is quite strenuous for the non-hiker. We saw a number of people struggling just as we were with our 3-year-old, two 4-year-olds and one grampa.

I would say it is a good hike for ages 6-8 and up. Our family was not ready for this "family hike." Our little ones had to be carried the last quarter mile and my knee managed to hang in there until the last 100 yards.

But, it's well-maintained, gorgeous, wide and rewards hikers with a SPECTACULAR view.

Only 4 stars because of the fact that the promotional material we saw at Settler's Green had us in over our heads. It is a 5 Star hike for everyone prepared for a...

A MUST DO I cant say enough about how amazing the summit is. It's a 1.5 mile hike up we did it with our 12 , 10 and 6 year old. My youngest had a hard time not because of the trail just because it was his first time actually walking for that long. Once he got to the top he was good he wanted to keep going. My 10 year old ALMOST STARTED TO CRY because of how beautiful he said it was. As any parent knows that is an amazing feeling when a child gets that emotional about nature and our beautiful world, especially when they're playing thoes stupid game systems ALL THE TIME. We will be doing this hike everytime we return to...

Hiked here on a rainy Christmas Day 2020- there was no one in site and there was beautiful rainy silence. The forest surrounding the trail is so sacred, you can tell by the thriving moss and trees. When we got to the top we had no idea what to expect, so it was a delightful surprise to see the white mountains. It was one of the greatest hikes I’ve been on in the north east usa- I especially enjoyed the look out area as it was covered in boulders to explore. Each boulder has its own view of the mountain. My doggie loved it too! It’s truly a...

Located near Kearsage, NH. I recommend going clockwise on the loop. Note: Hurricane Road is closed in the winter. The best time to hike this trail is May-October. #hikersoftiktok #hike #newhampshire #adventure #hiking #newengland #views #dogsthathike #dogsoftiktok #familyfriendly #fyp #fypシ
