We had a wonderful time here. Lots of picnic areas, and a good amount of parking. The bathrooms are pretty nicely kept. It's free to go but there is still a lifeguard on duty until the evening. There are ropes to keep smaller swimmers in safer areas. There are also walking paths to enjoy if you have to get out of the water for a little bit. It kept thundering on and off while we were there. They have you get out for 30 min if the storm is close. We also played in the sand but we didn't build any big castles this time.

The one picnic area is right near the beach & playground. There are bathrooms right close to the beach & there is a family/unisex bathroom with a shower for rinsing off.
