My wife and I and some of our Friends set up a JW cart here often. The people that pass by are very nice and friendly and many enjoy sharing stories about their dogs. There are some beautiful dogs that people bring. It is a real joy to sit and meet and chat with the great people that visit the park.

Nice park! Large enough to allow the dogs to really run and to allow dog to play in groups. Not a lot of shade but so I tend to take the dogs when the shadows are longer. Much needed addition to Cookeville and I’m grateful it’s here. They’ve got a water source for dogs now as well.

Our pit absolutely loved walking the trail and taking a small dip in the pond. She sleeps so well when we get home! A great time for you and your furry critter 🖤

The dogs all seemed great as did the environment/atmosphere... the people however, ehhh not so great in our short experience. My dog is still a puppy (she's a pretty large puppy) but is also medically fragile and needs exercise and interaction. She LOVES other dogs and had no issues with them... but she will sometimes growl at strange humans who randomly come near her to talk to, show attention to or (especially) pet/touch her.

While some people were extremely understanding of the fact that she's young and needs more time practicing being friendly (and would respectfully appreciate it if they'd ignore her entirely) - others were not as gracious.

While I understand people don't enjoy being growled at, that is the only way a dog can express their dislike/discomfort and I don't think it should be taken personally or considered 'rude' - my girlie would love to play with your dogs, just not with you 💁🏽‍♀️ We'll probably give it another shot after a few more...

Awsome place for your dog or Puppy in my case, 2 separated sides for large & small dogs 🐕 😀. My puppy loves it, he meets new playmates and iv met the nicest dog lovers there in my community. Fresh water fountain ⛲️ avaliable on both sides and sprinklers in the larger area, along with tubes, hoops ,stairs for training😁. This is a very well maintained park, my compliments 😊 to the staff and grounds keepers. Periodic fests like dog a polosaa are held the also, along with a 2 mile 🏃‍♂️ jogging trail around the lake. Love it here we go daily when...

This park is perfect for running or walking! I ran 11 miles, which was excessive but still beautiful! Excellent walks for dogs not to me tonight the huge dog park! My labradoodle LOVES IT ❤️

Bathrooms, picnic tables, piers, you couldn't ask for a better 1.75 mile path!

Oh, and excellent playground equipment for kids of all ages! My 2.5 yr old boy, 5 and 6yr old girls LOVE cane...
