The dogs all seemed great as did the environment/atmosphere... the people however, ehhh not so great in our short experience. My dog is still a puppy (she's a pretty large puppy) but is also medically fragile and needs exercise and interaction. She LOVES other dogs and had no issues with them... but she will sometimes growl at strange humans who randomly come near her to talk to, show attention to or (especially) pet/touch her.
While some people were extremely understanding of the fact that she's young and needs more time practicing being friendly (and would respectfully appreciate it if they'd ignore her entirely) - others were not as gracious.
While I understand people don't enjoy being growled at, that is the only way a dog can express their dislike/discomfort and I don't think it should be taken personally or considered 'rude' - my girlie would love to play with your dogs, just not with you 💁🏽♀️ We'll probably give it another shot after a few more...

Fresh water fountain ⛲️ avaliable on both sides and sprinklers in the larger area,along with tubes,hoops ,stairs for training😁. This is a very well maintained park, my compliments 😊 to the staff and grounds keepers. Periodic fests like dog a polosaa are held the also, along with a 2 mile 🏃♂️ jogging trail around the lake. Read moreThis park is perfect for running or walking! I ran 11 miles, which was excessive but still beautiful! Excellent walks for dogs not to me tonight the huge dog park! My labradoodle LOVES IT ❤️
Bathrooms, picnic tables, piers, you couldn't ask for a better 1.75 mile path!
Oh, and excellent playground equipment for kids of all ages! My 2.5 yr old boy, 5 and 6yr old girls LOVE cane...
