Loved it! Very ,very interesting. This is more authentic than the launch center in South Dakota, as they have preserved the actual building where the missile crews lived and slept. Also it's difficult to get a tour to get a tour at the South Dakota one, I had no problem getting a tour scheduled here on short notice. It was uncrowded and my friend and I got our own personal tour. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Just sends chills down your side to see the red chairs and the launch keys where they could launch the missiles. If your trip permits, check out the Minuteman Missile Site on I-90, 25 miles east of Wall, South Dakota. Seeing this launch site then seeing a missile in the launch silo really completes the loop on this...

This is a preserved minuteman missile silo that you can wander around at any time of the day. Note that you can't actually enter the silo or the underground building but there are plenty of placards to describe what happened here and what is was for.

The nearby Ronald Reagan Minutemen Missile facility has a in depth tour of the launch facilities. Note that parking /driveway is a narrow one lane gravel road and might be challenging if you have a 5th wheel or something but everyone...

It was really cool to just be able to walk up to the silo site. Being from SC, I am definitely not used to the biting wind in North Dakota in October, so it was a quick visit....but we had just come from the Oscar-zero Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile site, so we had to see this. It's not everyday that most of us get to see where a Missle sat ready to go during...

If you happen to be driving through this part of North Dakota then I should suggest stopping here and at the missile launch station located in the same area. The area is self guided and there are some posters with information about the sight to read along with a geocache if you are familiar. Good place to stop if you like history!

Very interesting. Able to access the areas the crew lived, worked, and played; and the equipment they used for monitoring and controlling the missile. I was amazed to learn the number of missiles/sites during the Cold War and the stress the Air Force endured monitoring while we lived obliviously unaware. Thanks to our military!
