It’s hard to find the words to describe just how special this place is and how incredible the people that work there are. Lisa & Casey and their staff are everything that you want in a wedding venue. We quickly fell in love with the Elms and a big part of that was immediately feeling at home when meeting Lisa and Casey. The house is so unique and every room is beautiful. The upper level is almost exclusively for the bride and bridesmaids and it is stunning. Plenty of room and the perfect backdrop for getting ready pictures. The grooms room is tucked away upstairs and is such a cool spot for the guys to get ready. The outside of this place is breathtaking. Both the front and backyard are to die for! Casey groomed the yard to perfection for our day. The ceremony spot was perfectly green and he even left us some wild flowers in the back for pictures. The weather played along and we ended up having a golden ceremony, with the afternoon sun shining through the moss 😍 Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! They pour their heart and soul into this place and it shows. Just LOOK AT IT! I can’t recommend The Elms enough. đŸ„° Photos by Danielle Hickman Photography

I had my wedding at the Elms and it ended up being way more than I hoped for. The home is classy, gorgeous, and full of southern charm. We loved the garden room with all of the windows for cutting the cake, the elegant parlor for pictures and the bridal sweet upstairs to get ready. The garden of Elm trees we stunning and provided a wonderful backdrop to our ceremony. I loved that the pavilion had a rustic but classy charm. It was nice to have the 3 spaces to host different parts of our event in: ceremony, reception and cake cutting. It’s so beautiful that we didn’t need to add much in regards to decor or flowers. The venue was impressive on it’s own.
and the staff was fantastic. Laura leigh was our coordinator and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease. They provided tables, chairs, linens, lights in the pavilion, audio /visual equipment, help with setup & take down, farmhouse table for the cake, etc
Everyone that attended was so impressed. We loved it!! Highly recommend !!

What a gem of a venue The Elms is!!! Lisa and Casey go above and beyond to help you make beautiful memories of whatever event is happening there. For us it was a full wedding weekend; rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception. They were extremely patient and accommodating of the time needed for our DIY decor and worked with us to allow time for reloading after it was all over. As a retired event coordinator, I was super impressed with Chris as the “Day Of” director. He worked very hard and was so professional the whole time, staying with us right until the very end. I could go on and on about the beauty of everything as well but, to keep it in a nutshell, I HIGHLY recommend The Elms of Coosada for ANY event needs.

From the very beginning, Casey and Lisa made our entire wedding experience at The Elms truly unforgettable. The moment we arrived for our initial tour, we were warmly welcomed with kindness and professionalism. What stood out most was their genuine approach, unlike other venues that came across as overly pushy or sales-driven, Casey and Lisa never pressured us to commit. Instead, they allowed the beauty and value of The Elms to speak for itself, and that authenticity made a huge difference in our decision.

The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled in a serene and natural setting, The Elms boasts expansive grounds, mature trees, and charming architectural details that provide a picture-perfect backdrop without the need for excessive dĂ©cor. In fact, the venue’s natural beauty significantly reduced our need to invest heavily in floral arrangements or decorations, everything already felt magical.

One of the greatest advantages of The Elms is their flexibility with planning options. They offer several service packages to fit a variety of needs. Whether you choose to utilize their in-house planning team or work with your own vendors like we did, Casey and Lisa are there every step of the way. They coordinated seamlessly with our outside planner and made sure everything ran smoothly leading up to and on the big day. Their level of communication, attention to detail, and commitment to making our vision come to life were unmatched.

Thanks to The Elms, our wedding day was more than we ever dreamed it could be. From the stunning ceremony space to the warm and supportive staff, everything came together perfectly. We are beyond grateful to have chosen The Elms and highly recommend it to any couple looking for a venue that’s not only beautiful but also run by people who truly care.

Forever Thankful, Caje and...

We just had our daughter's wedding at the Elms. The positives are that the moss trees are gorgeous, the wedding coordinator was unbelievable!!! She helped us every step of the way and we could not have asked for a better experience with her. She went above and beyond! The negatives would be when we got to rehearsal, we noticed the grass wasn't cut- it has been raining alot lately so we understood, but we brought it to their attention and they had it cut the next morning . The back yard behind the pavilion area was pretty bad looking as they had just had a new septic system or something put in. And grown up weeds and all around the side where it should have been landscaped better. There was also a bad smell during the reception. We overlooked that but what really bothered me the most is the fact that there is a tenant that lives there and seemed really possessive and makes it seems like its "his house" and it's like you have to ask for permission for everything. The doors kept getting locked at rehearsal... we had brought everything that we needed for our decorations, but needed the nails that were in our truck at the hotel and we simply asked if they had a few to save us a trip and he didnt know we heard his rude response. Same with a dead fern that was at the arbor...had we have known we could have brought our own but found some beside the house that would have worked. Of course those were "his" so we had to ask for permission and I dont think he liked us moving them but a dead fern isnt going to work for a wedding. Overall a good experience but I think it would be a good idea before booking to meet the tenant and get a feel for what all you really...
