Nimrod Lake — Attraction in Corinth

Good spot for picnics. The dam is gorgeous, the playgrounds seem structurally safe, and there are tons of shaded spots to sit at a picnic table and chow down.

We went here on maybe the warmest day in December. The campsites look cozy, with plenty of space for a multifamily outing. Each site gas a fire pit, power and water hookup spots, and a covered picnic area.

This might be a great spot to go fishing.

My family stated camping there, Quarry Cove in 1954, I was a new born. Several families of us were crappie lovers😝. We spent a week each month of the summer stocking up on crappie for the winter. The cove was a great swimming area and the shoot going into the quarry was great bream fishing under the willows. Also began skiing there when 6 yrs old.
