RNR Stables — Attraction in Corinth

I would definitely not recommend this business! At $75 it was s total rip-off, at $20 it would still not have been worth the drive over there. I purchased a riding session for my 9-yr old's birthday. Supposedly this included "Instructors help students develop confidence and coordination" and "riding sessions focus on fundamentals, along with a strong emphasis on safety and understanding the horse's social skills". There was none of that! There was no instruction, no assistance or teaching of fundamentals. Certainly nothing about horse social skills. There was my daughter and 3 other people walking the horses around in a circle for an hour, while 3 teenage staffers stood around in the center of the ring, on their phones, joking with each other and occasonally shouting out "pop him good" (meaning hit the horse with a crop, which they referred to as the cropper). This was the most frequent input offered by the staff. One of the riders was given a crop which was missing the flap on the end (the keeper) so that the rider was striking the horse with the exposed metal rod. At one point they had all the horses start trotting with no teaching or coaching of the riders. My daughter went around several times holding on to the saddle horn for dear life, and was completely ignored by the staff. I tried to offer her tips and guidance as she would come past me going around the ring. The entire time, the owners were sitting in a golf cart in the ring watching it all with no positive input. They are tricky! Don't go there! It is horrible! Last week before my Groupon expired on 8/25/14. I called them on 8/23/14 (at that time 8/25/14 is still have opening), the lady who works at RNR Stables said they would honored my Groupon and extended to let me use ASAP. I was told that I don't need to pay the difference between Groupon price and the regular price. so, I have made the reservation on 8/30/14 and got a email confirmation for 8/30/14 at 10am. 8/27/14 morning, another email said my reservation declined by the merchant , and also, the RNR Stables has redeemed today 8/27/14 at 9.37am. I feel very upset and being tricked by this merchant. They would not honored what their employee told us on the phone. Now they asked me to pay the reg price $85. Why would I do that? Why don't I just buy another groupon for $39 since they keep this going on? I think they should honor what their employee Vicki told customers. Now I lost my $39.00. Please...

My cousin booked a horseback riding lesson at RnR Stables for my birthday, and it was an extraordinary experience! Although I rarely write reviews, I felt compelled to share how wonderful our visit was.

The sign-in process was quick and efficient. The owners then introduced us to the horses we’d be riding, Tex and Pablo. They took the time to instruct us on how to ride and patiently answered all our questions, no matter how simple they might have seemed.

Tex and Pablo were delightful horses, each with a unique and vibrant personality. The entire experience was enchanting and enjoyable, suitable for all ages.

The owners of RnR Stables were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. The ranch offers a variety of activities, making it a perfect destination for a memorable outing.
