Disappointing experience at this farm . Very rude from people who is maintaining this farm. Response for there reply : "I am genuinely surprised and quite frankly, offended by your message. I assure you, my intention was never to 'only eat' your cherries or to steal. When visitors travel from a long distance to a farm like yours for an experience such as cherry picking, they do so with the full intention of picking and paying for their produce. The enjoyment of the experience often includes tasting a few pieces of fruit while picking, which is a common and usually accepted practice at U-pick farms. If there was a misunderstanding about your specific farm's policy, I apologize, but to accuse a customer of 'stealing' for tasting a few cherries during a picking experience is a very serious and unwarranted accusation. We certainly wouldn't drive for [mention your approximate travel time or distance, e.g., "an hour," "over X miles"] just to consume a few cherries without paying for a full basket. I believe there's been a misinterpretation of my actions. I value the hard work that goes into farming, and I believe in supporting local businesses. However, being accused of theft is unacceptable. I hope you'll reconsider the tone and nature of such communications with...
Read moreVery rude experience from the guy in the wheelchairs. We went there and asked him if they use any spray or it's organic. And the dude's response was "go home right now"! And he kept repeating it and added don't buy anything from here. He was yelling and screaming. I asked this same question to smith berry farms and west Union gardens or Hoffman's farm for the first time I visited them they all were very understanding of the question and responded to it kindly. But this person has acted to me so rude sounded like racist. But no surprise I read through all the comments in the review and I found at least 4 people who commented on a similar rude/abusive experience. Be careful with your kids around him read one of the past reviews and you will know...
Read moreWe have gone here for years. Last year, Jim was not well and we were bummed. I hope he is back! We love coming here! Frankly, he is fair in his pricing. It is a place that allows you to taste, walk, taste some more. I love it there on the weekday afternoons when it is quiet! I always joke around with him, that I want to buy his farm! If I had a million dollars. For those that are complaining about the pricing…how much did you eat? If we feel like we ate too much, I always ask him to mark my order up and extra pint or so of what we devoured! It is my pleasure to support a local small business! I enjoy the walk and...
