Dion Vineyard — Attraction in Cornelius

Dion Vineyard is a beautiful 60-acre estate located in the foothills of the coast range. They planted some of the earliest vines in the 1970's. This family-owned vineyard sells some of its fruit but also produces a small amount of wine. The rose' wine I tasted was wonderfully fruity; they have a solid pinot noir and a reserve made from old vine Pommard clone, all were delicious. A fantastic little cozy tasting room with a patio. Gorgeous valley hillside view over their Pinot Noir vines. Sara was such a refreshing source of knowledge about the region and winemaking. Very low key little spot, they don’t get much traffic but the pinot noir is fantastic, i had to bring home a bottle of the winemakers reserve!
