Great hike. Starts on a road up to the creek turn off. Turns into a moderate hike where u need to decide your path. Up the creek or 2 the side where trails exist. A fresh amount of poison oak exists so there is some caution to be used. We did see a western diamond back rattler sunning on a rock. These reptiles are not to be messed with.
That being said caution is expressed. The pay off of beauty and the waterfall are exceptional. So green this time of year it's a must for nature lovers.
Bikes share this trail so stay heads up and be safe. Bring water and plan for 5 to 6 hours round trip. It's 7.4 plus miles round trip.
Take all your trash and don't spray paint on rocks. Leave it better than u found it. Maybe even pick up some trash if your so inclined.
Take care of your trails and they will always amaze...

Wear hiking shoes or Gore-Tex boots since you will get wet!
Expect to hike 4-5 hours depending on your fitness and tracking skills, especially after it rains.
The dirt road from parking to the creek is easy. The challenging part of the hike is when you get to creek... there will be plenty of parts that require some upper body strength since you will have to climb boulders and ropes! It's around 13K round-trip.
Bring plenty of water around 2L and...
