We only hiked the main paved trail, but it was beautiful, clean, and mostly shaded. We took the dogs on a hike, just maybe 2 1/2 miles, tops, and it was really nice.
There is a non-fenced dog park along the way. If tou have good dogs that don't wonder, the dog park, and parts of the trails are available for off leash dogs.
The paved trail was a decent width, allowing 3 dogs to walk side-by-side, and 3 people to walk side-by-side behind them with decent spacing. On the paved trail bikes are allowed, so you have to make way every once in a while.

Some areas offer leash free zones for dogs, bicycling on paved trails so families can enjoy with the children. Lots of trees, well maintained and the other side of it is Crystal Lake Sports complex. At Willamette there is a lovely park with covered picnic areas too! Whether you want to jog or walk fast paced or just meander you will want to enjoy this park. There are a couple pavilions for bbq/parties, a playground, a good full size disc golf course that was recently refurbished, walking/running trails, sports fields, and access to the river for fishing, kayak/canoeing, paddleboarding, or floating (boat ramp too). Most small vessel/floating activities enter the river here and exit in downtown Corvallis near the Spaghetti Factory.
