I was doing research on which of the few pumpkin patches to visit, and I'm glad that I chose The Great Peter Pumpkin Patch. What sold me were the great reviews and the fact that it's also a cheese farm! It's located off the beaten path, so it might not be as popular as other patches but the upside of that is less crowds. Parking is very easy, and the patch itself is super wide and full of pumpkin varieties. Everyone was wearing their mask and keeping a safe distance from each other. I appreciated the hand-washing stations as well! It's really cool that you can just walk around and twist off your own pumpkin. I had a hard time choosing! Eventually I ended up with a small green pumpkin and a medium orange/green pumpkin - for a total of $10! They are priced according to size, which is shown next to the checkout area. I also enjoyed their pumpkin spice ice cream (Do you sell them in pints?). And I bought their cheese curds and smoked cheddar. Thanks for a wonderful experience and I'm so happy to support local farms...
Read moreVisited this pumpkin patch today with my family including my two year old and dog. We had a great time. Masks were required though not for kids under 2. Dogs are okay on leash. The farm is very relaxed and spread out with a very large pumpkin patch with many varieties of pumpkins.
I hadn’t realized that this is a working organic dairy farm, and they had cows, calves, and goats that you can pet.
Fun hay bale stacks for kids to climb, a tractor ride, a maze (we didn’t explore this), live music and food, though we brought a picnic and only tried the pumpkin ice cream (tasty!).
It was a great experience for us, there were lots of families with kids and dogs. It was very spread out so that it was easy to socially distance. We walked away with 5 pumpkins for $25. I love that it feels like a family farm and they’re clearly not trying to profiteer by charging for parking or rides. We’ll...
Read moreWe have been taking our students here for the past 14+ years. This is the best pumpkin patch in the area. The farmers are super nice! The children get to dig for potatoes, pick pumpkins, get tractor ride, milk cows, taste delicious cheese & pumpkin ice cream, play in the corn pit. It would be nice to have more shade especially in the corn pit. The yellow jackets and flies can be a bit annoying, though they are to be expected at a farm. The farm itself is beautiful! We love it because it is not filled with plastic play items...
