The lagoons are the best part of the Dead Horse Ranch State Park. There's 3 in total - with the smaller one across from the playground. The other two larger ones are located side by side- and you can't miss them. You'll see a large concrete lot (also includes accessible parking spots) and there's a flat sandy path that loops across the lagoons. Beautiful water that reflects the lush green trees, with mountains in the horizon. There's small bridges that extend out that you can fish from or just stand on; there also was a somewhat larger pier. It took about an hour to walk around the two larger lagoons. Nice and relaxing and saw a family of deer too. Side note: Do not follow where GPS directs you- since it directs you to "authorized vehicle only" area - and that's just park official offices.
