If I could give negative stars I sure would. Our family has been coming here for about 30 years and have always loved it. This Memorial Day and 4th of July that all changed. This campground is a disgrace to the city. The previous city man, Kenny did an amazing job at maintaining the park. The grass was always green and watered, just all taken care of. The camp host used to be required to stay in the middle area where they could see and hear what’s going on, not anymore! So much speeding traffic and fireworks being let off in the park which is NOT legal.

The day we arrived with 2 trailers the power would t keep on if both trailers hooked up. We complained from that day until Monday! We were told it would be taken care of the day we got here, NOPE. We prepared for one spot for a week, $280 and the other for only 2 days until friends arrived. Since the power wasn’t working our friends, (on the same power pole) were allowed to NOT pay until it was fixed. We dealt with the park host, city worker, and city hall which were NO help. City hall referred us to workers and host. The city owns it and gets the money. We asked for our money back as they didn’t have to pay. NO REFUNDS we were told. How about a free week of camping? We won’t be back anyhow. We called our bank and will dispute the charges.

A CITY worker is one of the camp hosts which is a JOKE. She needs to lose her job! The bathrooms were disgusting all week. People shutting on the floors and seats. Clogged toilets all the time. The old bathroom needs some serious work. The good bathroom was closed for vandalism. This place is a mess!!!

The mayor needs to wake up and take care of this park.

Several spots that were spots before r no longer spots. The ones on the island that used to be spots r now filled with dirt and rocks that the mayor had put there LONG ago when they built a house for the mother.

A place that used to be so packed that u couldn’t find an empty tent spot or a parking place is like a ghost town now days.

Wake up and turn this...

We have been coming here for the past few years. We came earlier this year as we wanted a good spot,The 2 best spots were taken up by the park host a d his family members. They changed the way you park so now if you want the grass side you must pull In and the next person who comes beside you must back in.So then you have to share your complete campsite with whoever. This would, and does make a difference if you are camping with other people,as you would all be facing the same way.Along the road side you are put in like sardines. Their was no room to put anything outside unless you wanted it by your neighbor's water and sewer. They say they are making some improvements .l see them but they have not been good. You now pay threw a machine to stay but must be exact cash orcredit card a d no change given and no refunds d AT ALL. Was a beautiful sunset most the 10 days were have been here. We have been here before but if their is something else available l will be going for it .Have a great year...

We have been going to this park for years as a family reunion. We haven’t had issues like the past couple years. This place does not get maintained at all! The bathrooms are messy & nasty, the beach is a dirty. The water dock that was said would be replaced, was taken out and never replaced. One of the boat docking areas has a huge boulder there with a sign that says “closed due to vandalism” there is no vandalism. The dock has just never been maintained, so the easiest thing for them to do is shutting it down and blaming the public. We have voiced our concerns to the local mayor and she does not care one bit. There is no park host but the city guy comes and pretty much harasses people. He is very disrespectful and rude. This park could be a nice park, but only if the city made some changes. It would be sad to let this park go after more than a dozen...

Came here camping with my brother and sister in law and another friend of mine. Very friendly Park Host. Lots of people come here and ignore the rules, but please just follow the rules. I recommend getting Mosquito nets if you are planning to spend some time outside. Since this place is right by water, it's a heaven for waterborne flying bugs. Gnats, Mosquito whatever you name it. When the winds pick up it drifts them all away but the annoyance is still there. If you are planning to bring dogs like myself, I also recommend some sort of boots for them. a lot of the connecting paths are laden with gravel and it'll be rough on the dogs paw if they walk on it for a long duration of time. Bringing either Muskers Secret or Bag Balm beforehand along with a shoe will save you major headache down your camping trip.

If you are looking for an inexpensive ice treat stop here when traveling highway 2 through coulee city. The ice cream is available Fri Sat sun just inside the entrance from memorialday to labor day.. Most products are priced 2 to 4 dollars. There is a public restrooms near by. You can camp for 35 dollars full hookups. There is a major boat launch with several tie up docks. There is a free picnic area with some beach access. Good place to give the kids a break, run around and then treat them to ice cream. Can't go wrong

This is the third time I've stayed here, and I won't be back. This place has so much potential. Coulee City will give campers a warning for everything! Extra vehicle fee, not paying on time, they will drive throughout occupied campsites, etc. They have a camera at the dumpster to catch unauthorized usage, what ever that means. And the sites aren't posted if they have 30, or 50 Amp service, so one has to drive around and physically look. There are other parks that are closer and soooo much better to camp at!!!@
