I found this beach like 3 years ago. I love it here. I have a dog no one ever bothers us. But this past year it has been a little bit different. Number one on Friday Saturday and Sunday all of a sudden they are starting to charge residents $25 for a season pass and non-residents $50 for a season pass. There are no day fees. Which personally I think is absolutely ridiculous. Number to there are no life God's hair so what are you charging 25 to $50 for yes granted it is clean it is picked up but other than that there's Porterhouse's that are currently dirty. I mean $50 for a non-resident even 25 for a resident that is outrageous! State beaches are cheaper than a pond it's just a pond guys it's nothing other than a pond. I literally do not understand it. Also people ought to update their websites because it says it closes at 8:00 at night. But yet the gates closed at 6:00 if you're in you're okay but if you're not in you're not okay and it should also say on the website now that they charge Friday Saturday Sunday. Here nor there I just really don't understand why they're charging that much money like I said state beaches are 25 this is just absolutely ridiculous to be charging that much money other than that I think it's...
Read moreI live this place because it's where I went as a little girl but the only thing that saddens me is that they charge money to go in there to swim when there was so many years where family's could go and enjoy the beach and have a look out but now it makes it VERY difficult for some families to do that like myself because we can't afford to pay the fee. I know myself we don't always have the extra money to go to a place to enjoy ourselves . So going to that beach so so convenient for parents to take there children there have a little cook out and just enjoy the day but now people like us can't even do that anymore. I DON'T understand why the town of Coventry had to take something so small and enjoyable away from...
Read moreThis tiny gem is tucked away deep in Warwick on the West Warwick line, and the surrounding residents are very protective of the little beach and surrounding woods. At one point, this was a private beach with residents guarding it fiercely.. However, the beach and park has been opened to everyone, but you'll pay for the privilege of using it. Warwick residents are free to use the beach. However, if you are from anywhere else, there is a $10.00 fee to enter. I have to say, this is one of the cleanest, well tended beach around, and it is a fresh water beach. There are life guards on duty, but be sure to check their hours. There is also a small play ground and picnic tables for those who want to make...
