This is such a beautiful trail! Lots of options for how far/how long you want to walk. We did just over 2 miles with our 8 and 4 year olds and they loved it. There are lots of big boulders to climb and streams to play in. A bit more changes in elevation than RI trails usually have but still easy enough for younger kids. We did the "Coventry Loop" trail from "Parking Lot 1", and the total time and distance were ~2 hours and 3.2 miles. Just about 3 miles, some good inclines and declines. A solid intermediate hike. Bring water and bug spray and possibly a pair of pruners. There are parts of the trail where the grass hits you as you pass it. I kept thinking about ticks. It is the season and we DID pull ticks off ourselves. Know that'll be the case, enjoy the hike and inspect yourself before you get...
