RF Landscape Construction and Yard Drainage — Attraction in Cranford

My wife and I were thinking about doing some landscape work on our property, as well as a paver patio in our yard. We were dragging our feet because finding a good landscaper is difficult. One day I had a postcard in my mailbox from RF. I called Rich and within a day or two he was at my house giving me pricing. He was very reasonable and less than a week later we hired him to reshape our front landscaped area. We were extremely happy with the quality of his work. A few months later we had him back to do the pavers which were done fast, with little mess, and we love the outcome. Recently, I decided I was too lazy to mow my lawn anymore so I texted Rich. Again his pricing was super reasonable (hard to find in this area). By that Friday he had my house added to his route and I had the convenience of a freshly mowed lawn.

I first contacted RF Landscape Construction in 2017 for yard drainage, as the landscape contractor I was using at the time did not do yard drainage. Upon completion of the job I switched to RF Landscape Construction for all my landscape contracting needs. RF Landscape Construction is the BEST! Rich Fidlow, the owner, and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable, timely, very hard working, keep a very clean job site, and always do the job right. They found errors my old landscape contractor made and promptly fixed them. I can always trust RF Landscape Construction to do any job right the first time. Working with Rich & RF construction was great. We passed his truck on our street one day and decided to give them a call to discuss drainage and reseeding our backyard. Rich was able to come right over the same day to discuss the different options. He gave us his honest opinions and didn't try to push us to spend more than what we really needed to do. Within a week of our first discussion, Rich and his team started the project and finished right on time. I had a few questions prior, during and after the project and Rich was always available to talk. I give it a 5 star rating and will definitely recommend working with him moving forward. Pictures show how my backyard would flood every time it rained. The 2nd picture shows the new drainage and this was after heavy rain. The grass grew in within 10 days and still no issues...
