We enjoyed our first outing to the Cleary Lake dog park this evening with a friend and will definitely be coming back! This park is a great size to be able to get some good exercise in as well as allowing your dogs to have their own space between meetings with other groups of dogs. As someone with a younger dog who is still learning to come down from big moments of excitement (play) as well as the she can be neutral around other dogs when we are just walking by and doesn’t need to play with every dog we meet, this was really great for us and made for a really successful outing. The little training areas and open spaces throughout the park are a bonus too. I’m excited to make use of the swimming pond as the weather warms up.

Great dog park....yes you have to pay, daily is $6.50 OR you can get an annual pass. I deducted 1 star because only way to pay is cash or check. No one really writes checks and 90% of people don't bring cash to walk your dog and go for a brisk walk. They need an app or credit machine. Btw, yes u need to clean up after your pet. Okay as for the park. It's big! Lots of walking, flat and easy enough for parents to bring kids and ride bikes......if your bog loves to swim this place is perfect....bring towels! At the enterance/exit is a water station and little hose to rinse you pets off with cuz some of the walking baths are a little muddy if it's been raining a lot. Hope this helps!

The best dog park in the cities! Love how spacious and easy the park is to walk. My husband and I love coming here with our dog to get out some energy and let her safely explore. We’ve also never had a bad encounter with a dog here — seems like everyone is on the same page with only bringing their well behaved pups! 🐶 I wish there was a hose for washing dog off quick when she’s muddy but not a big deal!

Great Dog Park. Always lots of dogs to play with because this is the best dog park around. About 1/4 x 1/4 mile. 100% fenced in. Optional to go into a lake but even that is fenced in so if you don't want your dog to get wet you don't have to. There is a well groomed trail along the perimeter and a groomed more woodsy trail in the interior. Careful of the mosquitos going on the interior trail. They can be bad.

There is a bathroom and a clean water station for your pup. The park does have a fee. If you plan on going several times, I suggest getting an annual pass which you can get at the Cleary Lake Golf Pro Shop nearby for about $50. I have seen them check for passes on the cars before so beware if you try to risk it. Same pass also works at the Murphey-Hannerahan dog park on Hwy...
