The staff at the Visitor Center were very helpful in suggesting hikes through the forests. I went right after Labor Day and got to the Parks by 8am, so there were few people and enjoyed the park and some of the trees by myself or with maybe another couple also being early birds. I saw a herd of Roosevelt Elk that added to why these are great parks. Stopped at the visitor center and the the park service employee informed us the these trees were older trees that have not been logged. It was a mind blowing experience. Just breath taking.
