Kind of tricky to find, not too far from crescent City and only a small turnout imwith not much signage is all there is to show where it is on the road. However it's worth a look. Ample parking and restrooms and some info plaques and signage present. The trail and trees are breathtaking and the enormity of the trees makes one feel very small. Lush and green the short loop trail is invigorating and fairly open with many offshoots to explore amongst the giants. Very open and most trails lead back to parking areas so not easy to get lost and the low amount of traffic due to the obscurity of signage makes this a non crowded area to enjoy in silence and isolation. A great place to witness the grandure if the redwoods and get in a good head space. 10/10...

Must-see spots in Redwood National Park 👇👇 This park is our favorite place to road trip to in the spring. Because of its low elevation, there aren’t snow covered trails to worry about and the weather is fairly nice this time of year. If you are planning a trip, here are spots you cannot miss! 🌲 Drive the Avenue of the Giants -places to stop include Founder’s Grove, Gould Grove Nature Trail, and Drury-Chaney Trail 🌲 Hike the Simpson-Reed Trail 🌲 Find a swimming hole at Standish-Hickey 🌲 Hike around Richardson Grove State Park 🌲 See the Big Tree via the Karl Knapp Trail 🌲 Check out the Grove of the Titans Trail 🌲 Drive the Newton B Drury Scenic Parkway 🌲 Hike through Fern Canyon -Bonus: stop at Gold Bluffs Beach nearby after your hike 🌲 Hike the Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trail If you have been to the Redwoods - let us know your favorite spot in the comments! #redwood #redwoodnationalpark #california #travelcalifornia #californiahiking #redwoodforest #redwoods #besthikes #nationalpark #nationalparks #ferncanyon #foresttherapy #forestbathing #springtravel #roadtripusa #summertravel
