Serenity Hills — Attraction in Cresco

The venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for my best friend's wedding, but the management left much to be desired. I would strongly advise considering this before booking your special day there. On the morning of the wedding, as we were getting ready, the management unexpectedly entered the bridal suite with a prospective bride, making everyone, including the prospective bride, uncomfortable. Despite my friend's prior request to include her dogs in the ceremony, the management was unexpectedly rude and resistant on the wedding day. During the first dances, they began cleaning tables and insisted guests clear the flowers from the ceremony site, which was highly inappropriate timing. An hour before the reception ended, they pressured us to clean up, and at the event's conclusion, they rudely insisted everyone leave promptly. Our son and new daughter-in-law had their wedding at Serenity Hills last weekend. My experience can be summed up with a word: WOW!

As someone who was at this venue for twelve hours, it felt like the blink of an eye. The location, scenery in all directions, bridal cottage and groom's den for getting ready, down to every detail of the pavilion. Serenity Hills is so aptly named, it melts your stress away.

And then the party starts!

There are so many options I could see for this venue, other than wedding perfection. Serenity Hills would be wonderful for a family reunion, graduation, or destination anything!

Visit this part of Minnesota where the Root River magically keeps the majority of mosquitoes at bay. There are so many fun and interesting things to learn about - for the whole family.

We were there for a wedding and I was so beyond impressed. This venue is absolutely beautiful. The wedding outside was amazing with the beautiful views. The building and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The most beautiful landscape and green grass. Amaxzng patio with tables and a firetable. There is also a real fire pit with chairs to sit around and enjoy the view. It was so crazy hot but the doors all open and they have ceiling fans that kept the building comfortable.
