Over in the small town of Nunica, this is about 10 minutes off of I-96. It’s a cute little area with a couple nice hiking trails. I imagine it’s a beautiful sight during autumn when the colors are changing. The area is mostly in the woods and is a a very dog friendly area to walk. The only negative is during the time of year I went, there was a significant quantity of mosquitos that love to get at you. It was nearly overwhelming and unfortunately limited my time there. Read moreStill soggy december, but the trails are well kept. If you have clothes that will snag watch out for the thorns. Beautiful water views. There are hills and the whole thing is about a mile and a half long. Wear boots. Low traffic (in December)
