Visited Strickers Grove for my Dad's work picnic. He's an electrician and he has a union picnic for as long as I can remember. It was a great place when I wentvas a small child and just as great as a 50 year old. It's not Kings Island (which I saw in other reviews) but, they do not claim to be. It's a small amusement park that you don't see anymore. Has smaller rides for the little ones and a couple coasters for the older kids. It has a game room area which is great and an indoor hall they use for bingo at the work picnic, but I am sure they use it as a rental hall for receptiions and the like for weddings, retirement parties etc. I think I went to a Meanest Man Contest more years ago than I care to remember. I remember as a little girl at the work picnic after night fall the bingo would stop and a band would play. They have corn hole and horse shoes as well as a huge shelter with picnic tables. I really enjoy this place its a a throwback to the old days of amusement parks. A great day for all. It poured down rain everywhere near there in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, but that little area didn't get rained on at all. Unbelievable!!!

A company day through the union my uncle retired from had a day reserved this specific day; which brought my son and I to Stricker's Grove. The amusement park deserves a 5 stars. Well maintained and well kept it brought back memories of when I was growing up visiting Stricker's Grove. It hasn't changed a bit! It depends what day or what promotion the park has for that specific day varies prices and incentives of the park. ON our visit hot dogs with sides were served & they were great! All you can drink beer must present ID with arm band, all you can eat ice cream cones, snow cones, cotton candy. Popcorn oh and pop several different flavors. The rides were unlimited. The 2 big roller coasters are always separate from the rest of the rides for instance you can pay for armband unlimited rides or single each times. Prices vary for events. I hope my review helps your descion on your future visit to Stricker's Grove. If you haven't visited you should, you will have a very memorable moment with whomever accompanies you..

Overall, it's a great little amusement park, and my daughter looks forward to it every year. This year, I'm disappointed with the lack of cooperation and understanding from an employee, though. My 3 year old, who is 36" tall, was denied riding the kiddie cars. He was so excited to go that he tried to rush past the teen manning it and ducked under the measuring stick he was holding. The employee instantly said he was too short and maybe next year. I asked if he could remeasure with the stick, and he declined. We walked out to the side of the ride, and he was clearly above the 34" requirement line on the board. The ride is also advertised as only needing to be 30" tall.

First time going to this park. Very nice. Had our company picnic. Food, fun, game and rides. Not very large but cozy for a mid sized company. Like a networking or team building exercise. The staff was very friendly. The food was good. We had burgers, hotdogs, metts, sausage, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad and fixings for hamburger and hotdogs. Concessions offered soda(6 flavors),ice cream on a cone, popcorn, cotton candy and water. Cooling area if the heat was too much. Rides for adults and little adults😀. Covered picnic area and putt put. Check them out for your next company or family outing.
