Bills Lake is one of the only green bottom lakes left in the United States, due to peoples outright disrespect of the Earth we live on and call our home. This area has a wonderful mix of people who make up the small community that surrounds this lake. They have set up special ordinances, such as limiting motor size, this helps from disturbing the natural eco system at the bottom of the lake. This is a beautiful lake with the most happy friendly people. A wonderful vacation setting. Lots of rental homes for summer vacationers, and camp sites all around.
