OWNER PLEASE CALL - You have my number as I've tried calling multiple times for both numbers on the website. Replying via google is not the best way to close the gap on this issue and the current reply isn't correct for how soon we tried to contact the team to see what could be done. Notice was not 1.5 hours, it was 12 hours which this is the exact time we were notified and respected the Lazy R by staying away. Its a shame and upsetting that Lazy R folks are not able to show the same respect by at least trying to work with us.
Experience/review with Lazy R on the Horse Trail ride services they provide.
Recommend to view their policies before booking (also challenging their policies in this review). Not reasonable in our current times with Covid. We had to cancel last minute due to news of potential exposure and Bryan Moses would not consider our circumstances and decision to respect the Lazy R team and their customers by staying home and trying to reschedule. Mr. Moses offered a 15% off of another scheduled ride but this was more of an insult than a true offer to work with us. Lacking customer focus.
From the list of text messages (inefficient), his main thing was only to get people in the saddle with no consideration of anything else. Requested a phone call but was denied. Requested that he closed the gap on why the current policies are the way they were and dodged the question. Still early in the day so may be reached later so will update then if we can come to terms.
Understand that we will not receive a refund due to the current policies which was a weekend rate X4 so beware before you book with them.
Recommend to Lazy R as a business, that they reconsider their current policies for future customers. We were not trying to abuse your policies by reaching out to work with you...
Read moreThe venue is beautiful, but the communication is really lacking. I had a very hard time during the planning phase getting adequate and timely answers from the assistant. Very difficult to contact and wasn't very knowledgeable about the venue. During our event, I let them know of existing plumbing issues in both the Ranch House and the barn. One of the bathrooms in the barn didn't even work during our reception because the bowl wouldn't fill. This was disappointing. Neither of these issues were acknowledged at all. Furthermore, I was very forthcoming that we would be bringing our dog and that it was very important to us to have her there to be a part of our wedding. They never told me she wasn't allowed in ANY of the buildings and was expected to stay outside the entire time. I would have looked for a different venue had I known this. They slipped this into the contract and then used it to keep my entire deposit and took 3 weeks to even tell me that they weren't refunding any of my deposit. I felt that this was very dishonest of them and would recommend anyone booking this venue to go through the contract with a fine tooth comb and not rely on your conversations with them. I would also not recommend this venue if having your pet as part of your event is important to you. It would have been a huge hassle to keep her outside the...
Read moreMy wife and I booked a trail ride at Lazy R Ranch for our first vacation to Idaho from Wisconsin. She'd never ridden a horse before, and this turned out to be a beautiful, perfect place to check off that box. The route we took to the ranch had an unannounced road closing, so we realized we'd never make it on time. We were the only riders scheduled for that time slot, so the guide kindly agreed to wait for us to go around the other route. We were a bit rattled by the time we arrived, but Payton and his Dad were very easy going and made us feel at home immediately. We had great conversation and saw beautiful scenery and wildlife, and they stayed late to give us a full ride! This was the highlight of our trip and we felt like family by the time we left. We could not have asked for more, and can't wait to bring our family back to Idaho for another trail ride. This experience was...
