I give it 5 stars, rating it for what it is. This beach is in a nice tucked away side of the island. Close to the main ferry town. The drive can be a little intense. I used a bronco but it’s possible to use a golf cart too. This is a stone and pebble beach which makes it different than the others I visited today. The great thing is it’s suitable for swimming. Bring water shoes/flippers for this one. It has “freshwater” elements of what looked like stone and a mild area of jagged rocks and coral. It was the most calm beach I went to today which adds to its “freshwater” characteristics. I didn’t go in, but water felt cool and refreshing, and I heard there’s great spots for scuba and snorkel. I went back at night time and it’s a great spot to see the stars. Surprisingly no sand fleas or mosquitoes, but bring your bug spray anyway. Not sure if it’s even allowed to visit after dark, but if you go, bring your flashlights.

Please be careful swimming here. Do not do what I did and not check the tide schedule before coming. Yes, the beach and snorkeling here are awesome, but the current can be NO joke. I am a strong swimmer and got caught in a rip current starting from Playa Carlos Rosario to this point once I finally got back to land. The waves pushed my into the rocks at this point and I got a few cuts and bruises. I give 5 stars because grabbing onto the rocks and walking on the rocks back to Playa Carlos Rosario saved my life! Saw lots of turtles and fish. Careful many...

Beautiful, quiet beach. Water is much calmer than some of the other beaches we went to and we practically had the entire beach to ourselves. Good snorkeling and had a picnic with the...
