Lenn Park - Culpeper County Parks & Recreation — Attraction in Culpeper

I've gone there more than a few times, to either play softball or horseshoes. Most recently I went there with two of my siblings, and we took a delightful walk around the Park. Taking in all that the park had to offer. All of us thought that the river there( in the park) was very beautiful and peaceful. The park itself is beautiful, and can take one back to simpler times. As there are two ball Fields, a horseshoe court, a playground, a good size pavilion, and a radio controlled airplane air strip. Also there is now a small dog park there as well. It's a good country park to have around. The playgrounds are decent: the upper playground is really small but good for the little kids brought along to baseball games. The lower playground is well thought out and has a good collection of activities. The athletic fields are always in good condition and the paths for walking, running, and riding are well tended. The pavilion on the hill is well maintained and gets a fair amount of use. The dog playground is rarely as used as I would expect it to be.
