Recently, I had the pleasure of discovering Rueben Ingold Park, and what an enchanting experience it was! Nestled away from the bustling city streets, this park is a true hidden gem that offers a peaceful retreat into nature.
The moment you step into Rueben Ingold Park, you’re greeted with a sense of tranquility. The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and well-kept paths that invite you for a leisurely stroll or a more energetic hike. It’s a perfect spot for both relaxation and getting in some exercise.
One of the highlights of my visit was the scenic views the park offers. Whether it’s the gently rolling hills or the picturesque landscapes, every corner of this park is a visual treat. It’s also surprisingly quiet, making it an ideal place for those looking to escape the city’s noise and find a moment of peace.
For families, this park is a delight. There are enough open spaces for kids to run around and play, and the atmosphere is very family-friendly. It’s also a great spot for picnics, reading, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature.
In conclusion, Rueben Ingold Park is a must-visit for anyone looking to find a serene escape in the city. It’s a place where you can reconnect with nature, enjoy some quiet time, or have a fun day out with the family. Don’t miss out on this charming park - it’s a true...
Read moreThis is a wonderful little park overlooking Stocker Street and South La Brea Ave. On days with any breeze at all, a cool rush of air comes up from the roads below, washing over the park and bringing refreshment to anyone walking the rubberized trail the neatly defines the perimeter of the park. I've never seen the place crowded, perhaps because it's fairly small as compared to the Kenneth Hahn State Rec area across the intersection from it. This makes for a safe run, as I don't have to pay as much attention to what other people are doing-- there simply aren't that many people there. Read moreOkay, this is not a park park, it just a track and exercise area. If you go down the stairs there is a nice little hiking area. If you are alone, take a walking stick, I have seen a coyote twice.
It has an awesome view of the park across the street and the sky. I enjoy going here to get a quick workout in the morning. Walk around the track 3 times and bam 2.5 miles.
You will see hummingbirds, birds and occasionally squirrel. A lot of people bring their dogs as well.
Very peaceful place to take a brisk walk or jog and clear your mind. Sometimes I see trainer training in the middle area. One time I seen a lady teaching yoga.
Whether you are alone or bring a friend ,you will enjoy it. It's small but have a charm to it that keeps me coming back.
The have plenty of street parking at the top and more parking at...
