this farm is pretty cool. there’s so much for the kids to do. we went on a rainy day. so they did have to deflate the pumpkin bouncer for the kids which was pretty sad but completely understandable due to safety precautions. on your way in it’s a little confusing how to walk in and pay. you have to walk around the window down towards the farm and not in through the back of the store which is right at the entrance. there’s plenty of parking. they have animals you can feed with the cup of food that you have to purchase with your ticket. i wish i could remember how much we spent. the animals look pretty content and healthy. there’s a duck splash game right behind the cashier as well. so the kids can get straight to fun. the employee who checked us in that day was super informative and kind. so that was a warm welcome. they have a maze run, teeny pumpkins patch, mini playground with slides, haystacks to climb, basketball, a giant wheel for the kids to roll each other in. the hay ride is pretty fun. it takes you to the back where there’s race cars to ride. some of them were broken and needed to be repaired but once you find the right one it’s a good time and work out. be prepared for leg day. on the hayride they have fun tv show characters that you can spot in the woods along the way which is fun when the kids spot them. there’s a few lengthy maze runs. in the store on your way out there are donuts. they weren’t tasty when i was there. honestly they tasted pretty stale and oily. they had a few snacks but nothing to really munch on. i’m not sure if they offer different types of food on different days but on this day it was just donuts. there are tables to sit and eat. so bring your own food and snacks. overall we enjoyed ourselves. if i could change anything it would be to add some food and more snacks in the store. it’s a fun trip for families or...
Read moreI’ll start off by saying that my two kids (age 11, age 6) had a blast. They have lots of things to do. Honestly, we spent about 5-6 hours there and they still weren’t ready to leave.
For this experience to be a “5-Star” there would need to be some changes, in my opinion.
Each area/activity is unsupervised by staff. This means parents are having to work together to designate a line and make sure the kiddos are waiting in this line. Unfortunately many families either don’t see this line or don’t care. There was a lot of getting cut and having to speak up to other peoples kids’/ other families. A designated queue area would be very helpful at the very least.
There was a lot of broken or damaged equipment without signage. 4-5 of the ride on bikes were broken and still on the track. Children would get on it and it would have a missing pedal, broken steering wheel etc. Many of the “duck racer” activities were broken too. The “spider web” wasn’t off the ground so essentially like laying on the ground.
The animal feed cups were overpriced. $6 a cup. Then, half the animals refused the food because they’ve been eating ALL day. Don’t recommend this purchase.
The mud was excessive. I know this is an outdoor setting and there’s not too much to be done about it. Some areas were inaccessible due to the high amount of mud.
All things considered we still had an awesome day. Wear boots and be sure to purchase a...
Read moreThis place is not worth the hype or the price tag. For 2 adults, it cost $35. Thats more expensive that Roger Williams! But if you wanted to feed the animals, it was an additional $5 per tiny cup of livestock feed. Stock feed is about $20 for a 50lb bag. The cup is the size of a toddler cup, very small. So they are just racking in the money, essentially robbing us. Dont even think about taking anyone with a slight disability because their landscape is dangerous. Its just all hill and rock. No maintenance looks like its ever been done to this place to make it safer. Now let's talk about the few animals they have. The only animal with a decent enclosure are the Holsteins (cows) There are about 7 donkeys in a tiny enclosure and 4 goats in another tiny enclosure and the alpacas in another tiny enclosure. These animals get bored very easily and need a lot of stimulation which they aren't getting. Then there is a female goat with a horrible ulcered udder. Her right side is dragging on the ground (needs to be emptied) and her left side is ulcered and looks infected. They clearly do not care about the welfare of their animals. With all the money the money theyre making, this place should be 10x better. We will...
