First, Sherri is the nicest and most helpful person I’ve ever talked to at a campsite.

We visited on a short camping trip. The park is beautiful. The scenery is spectacular. The camping areas and facilities are very well maintained. All the staff was super helpful.

They have eight or ten primitive sites. Maybe six of them are along the road where the picnic shelters are located, with clean bathrooms in east walking distance. Full shade, mulch tent pad, room for one vehicle to park. Each has a fire ring with a cooking grate on the fire ring. No electric, no water.

Two are located across the pond from the gift shop. Two or three more up the hill, accessed directly off the park road. All these appear to have a similar setup to the ones adjacent to the picnic shelters.

We stayed over a holiday weekend and we were the only campers in the picnic shelter area. Kinda weird cause not what we’re accustomed to but nicely silent!

Only regret here is that we couldn’t stay longer, looking forward to going back. Thanks,...

The park is beautiful and well-kept. We reserve a pavilion for our family reunions. My mother grew up in that area (one of the overlooks is named after them) and we always loved hearing about her childhood adventures (long before it was a park), climbing to the top Raven's Rock, and playing on Log Rock. There's a lovely little lake beside the visitor's center where you can fish, feed the ducks, rent paddle boats. There are several picnic areas, playgrounds, and walking trails. But be sure to take lots of pictures at the overlooks!! I think you get great pictures at all of the overlooks, but the most popular is Creech Overlook. Make a day of it, or stay overnight at one of the...

✨ Adventure Above the Clouds ✨ Exploring Kingdom Come State Park in Harlan County — Kentucky’s highest state park at 2,700 ft! 🏞️ There are eight stunning overlooks. Here’s some of my fav stops: -Gazebo -12 O’Clock Overlook -Bullock Overlook -Mountain lake (yes, you can fish or pedal boat here 🎣🚤) -Gift Shop/Nature Center (meet interesting critters 🦎) If you have extra time, these are some other great ones to see: -Log Rock (natural sandstone bridge) -Cave Amphitheater -Creech Overlook Most of the hikes here are short but you can combine them if you’re looking to get a good workout in while you sightsee! 💪🥾 #KingdomComeStatePark #HarlanCountyKY #PineMountain #ExploreKentucky #EricaExplores @KentuckyTourismOfficial
