West Bank Park Beach — Attraction in Cumming

I took my kids to the lake since I was trying to sit close to the WC there were some central American there trying to talk to my minor daughters fortunately my kids are not so gullible and came straight to me instead of having a conversation with them... unfortunately, I was by myself with my kids. There is a $5 charge and no parks take cash anymore so be prepared with your card to enter. There is plenty of parking. The bathrooms are right close to the beach, which is convenient. They're kinda smelly and not air conditioned but it's the lake so I guess it's too be expected. The beach area is nice, but not too big, there are large trees so some of the area is shaded to be able to escape the blazing sun. This park is an excellent spot for a family outing, especially for picnics and BBQs. It offers spacious areas for setting up, with dedicated BBQ pits and plenty of picnic tables. Kids will love the sand play areas and the opportunity to go boating on the calm lake. Early November is a particularly good time to visit – the weather is mild, and best of all, there are no pesky mosquitoes.
